“If you truly want to experience the Chianti region, this is the tour you’ve been looking for!” The Chianti region is celebrated worldwide for its exquisite ruby-red blends and picturesque rolling hills. Sangiovese, the most widely planted grape in Italy, will guide you as you appreciate its unique qualities. Our adventure begins in the heart of Chianti Classico, where you’ll visit a local winery renowned for its Chianti, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. A family member will welcome you and lead you through the vineyard, cellar, and tasting room. Here, you’ll savor Chianti Classico, Vinsanto, paired with local delicacies. We then continue to a historic farm that produces wines and olive oil. During this tasting, the wines will be paired with a three-course lunch featuring an appetizer, first course and dessert, teaching you to match wines with Tuscan flavors. SMALLER GROUP THAN 4 GUESTS? Itinerary
09:15am: meet your English speaking driver
10:30AM: arrive at the small local boutique winery. Our first stop will be in the heart of the Chianti area, which is called "Chianti Classico", where you will visit a local winery that produce a selection of Chianti and a delicious olive oil. You will be welcomed from a member of the family that, with care will guide you through the vineyard, the cellar and the tasting where you can try different vintages of Chianti classico, Vinsanto, Grappa and some fresh local deliciousness to eat with.
12:45pm: Second cellar, we're still in heart of the Chianti area. We’ll continue going in the direction of Chianti Classico. Here, you'll be welcomed by the family that will show their cellar and let you seat at the amazing terrace, looking all over the vineyard. Here you'll have an amazing lunch home cooked paired with their wines, an amazing experience of tasting of a typical local meal and local wines, learning the differences on pair food and wines.
03:30-4:00PM: Back In Florence. After the meal and a bit of free time for yourself we will bring you back to Florence relaxed and full of delicious memories!
