Kong was an excellent tour guide that was detailed and perfectly on time for everything. Would easily book again. Northern Thailand is very much worth exploring!
Kong La was kind and very informational. He made us feel completely at home! I would HIGHLY recommend that you book a tour with him while visiting Chiang Rai❤️
We had a wonderful private tour with Guide Kong Lo, he was very knowledgeable and pointed out many things along the way. Loved the visit to the Long Neck Karen and other tribes. So very interesting. The weaving they do is beautiful. The tea plantation was very interesting and the trip to the boarder town and golden triangle was the highlight for us…..learning about the Opium trade ❤️ It was a full long day but worth it. Definitely recommend this tour.
We had a great day with Sandy and enjoyed the variety of this tour. Nice car and really informative. Highly recommend!!!
It was an amazing and exhilarating day with Susie our guide. Highly recommend this 12 hour experience (if you are coming from Chiang Mai).
This tour was excellent. Kong la was a brilliant guide. He was engaging and thorough, stopped for plenty of photo opportunities, and suggested short, interesting walks. When my partner fell sick during the tour, he took us to a clinic and helped us communicate with the staff. He was honestly so kind and patient--it was an excellent experience and we'd book with this tour company again in a heartbeat.
Great immersive tour with a very knowledgeable and thoughtful guide. Totally recommend for a good overview of The Golden Triangle area. Book in advance as the trip price went up dramatically the day before the trip.
Individualized attention with a busy, very full day. Sandy provided almost continuous narration and insight. Thoroughly enjoyed our 9 hour day visiting Hill Tribe Villages, tea plantation, lunch stop, Mae Sai skywalk and Golden Triangle/Opium Museum.
Really excellent trip. Well run, well paced, and very interesting. Our guide was helpful and the transport was really comfortable. Highly recommend as a great way to see a lot in a short time.
Both the tour and our guide Benja were excellent. She had a lot of knowledge regarding the places we went. She provided history , local information, translations and recommendations of ways to further our exploration of northern Thailand. Really enjoyed the Hill Tribes and Golden Triangle. We did a fast boat ride on the Mekong as an extra. Benja’s driving was safe, and her vehicle comfortable. She had a great personality and was easy to talk to about things not directly related to the tour. Highly recommend the tour and Benja (Chiangrai Big Smile Tours) in particular.
