Itinerary
Visit the beautiful Wachirathan waterfall, one of the highlights of Doi Inthanon National Park and the most impressive of all the waterfalls in Chiang Mai. Because of the incredible height, the waterfall creates a mist in the surrounding, making it a picturesque sight. Together with the mossy rocks and emerald water it gives this place a magical atmosphere. There’s a colorful rainbow appearing in front of the waterfall every time the sun is shining through the mist which makes it a very photogenic spot. The duration included traveling time from Chiangmai to Doi Inthanon. Total time includes traveling time from one place to the other place.
Sirithan Waterfall is a spectacular sight where the waters of the Mae Klang River cascade down a dramatic rock cliff before joining the river below. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery, with dense forests framing the rushing water, creating a serene and picturesque setting. While visitors cannot approach the base of the waterfall, it can be admired from a scenic viewpoint, allowing you to appreciate the full height and power of the cascading water as it tumbles gracefully down the cliff. This vantage point also offers excellent photo opportunities, capturing the waterfall’s natural beauty against the backdrop of the highland forests and misty mountain landscape. Total time includes traveling time from one place to the other.
Visit the King and Queen chedis, two beautiful pagodas that were built in honor of the former King and Queen of Thailand. These mirrored buildings sit atop the mountain and are surrounded by manicured flower gardens with jaw-dropping views of the valley below. Total time includes traveling time from one place to the other place.
Exploring Doi Inthanon National Park, the highest point in Thailand. One of the most popular national parks in Thailand. Experience amazing viewpoints and enjoy the all year round cooler temperatures weather. Total time includes traveling time from one place to the other place.
Take a short and easy nature walk along the Ang Ka Nature Trail, a wooden platform path suitable for everyone, and discover the unique flora and forest that thrive at this high altitude in Doi Inthanon National Park. This is not a long or strenuous hike through the rainforest, but a gentle stroll where you can fully enjoy the magical surroundings. The dense, mossy, and lush forest is alive with color and life all year round, offering a peaceful and refreshing escape into nature. Along the trail, you’ll encounter a variety of authentic flora and fauna. Every step brings new sights, sounds, and scents of this remarkable highland environment, making it a wonderful opportunity for photography and simply immersing yourself in nature. The easy walk allows you to take your time, breathe in the crisp mountain air, and marvel at the beauty of Thailand’s highlands. Total time includes traveling time from one place to the other.
Visit the Karen village Baan Mae Klang Luang, named after the Mae Klang river. Nestled in the stunning mountainous setting of Doi Inthanon, this village is surrounded by brilliant green forests, lush rice terraces and verdant coffee fields. In Mae Klang Luang, opium cultivation was the main source of income not too long ago. The Thai government has fought against opium farming among the hill tribes of Northern Thailand for decades, and nowadays the local population earns most of their income from farming, supplemented by tourism. Baan Mae Klang Luang is well known for its coffee crop. Of course you are welcome to sample the locally grown and freshly roasted coffee. Please note that the duration includes travel time between the various stops within the park, and also from Doi Inthanon National Park back to Chiang Mai.

G. Bright and D. Kan were amazing guides. I was completely by myself and we literally just hung out and talked the entire time, while they supplied me with useful information about the places we went. Would highly recommend everyone to book them.

Saman was a great guide. He had lots of experience and we truly enjoyed our trip.
I had a great time with our guide G. Bright and driver Tammy. Our guide was well informed and answered our questions. The luscious forrest of Doi Inthanon was spectacular and the morning mist made it dreamy. Comfortable travel and had a delicious meal for lunch at a local restaurant.
Tik Tok was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. Definitely recommend him and this trip.
Cool trip and Tik was great! The first waterfall and forest walk were the highlights
Tik is an amazing tour guide full of knowledge about the Doi inthanon national park as well as the birds, plants, and other animals. We started the tour with waterfalls, went into the rain forest where we experienced torrential downpour and finished at the temples at the top of the mountain. I would absolutely recommend this breathtaking experience! It was so beautiful.
This VIP tour with Tik was a quiet, quick ride to the mountains to see spectacular water views and mountain views. We enjoyed a nice walk to see how rice and coffee are made along with traditional clothing. The forest with refreshing rain pouring down was a walk to remember. We were able to see views from the highest mountains and capture photos to remember our trip. The local food hit the spot before a nice ride back into town. Highly recommend this tour. Thank you Tik for all the information about Thailand!
