This was a unique and wonderful experience. The staff care a great deal about the elephants and their wellbeing, and are passionate about sharing this with their visitors.
If you are looking for an ethical way to support and interact with elephants, this is the most amazing tour. From the moment we were picked up, our guide Peter provided a lot of information on the area and the sanctuary - even giving us great dinner recommendations. At the sanctuary, we learned about conservation efforts, prepared food for the elephants, and the most fun of all, we were able to play with and feed the elephants. They have an adorable baby elephant who is always getting into trouble. If you are in Chiang Mai, you must visit the sanctuary.
Great experience! You get to do many fun activities along with the elephants. The guides are very fun and patient when it comes to explaining how to interact with these beautiful creatures. It is a must during your visit in Chiang Mai.
