Your private guide will be waiting for you, ready to accompany you throughout this enchanting night exploration Spring Road, the bustling commercial heart of Chengdu, comes alive at night. The streets are filled with a vibrant energy, as people stroll around, window-shop, and enjoy the lively atmosphere. Here, you can see the famous IFS building with the iconic giant panda sculpture seemingly climbing on the wall, creating a perfect photo opportunity. Just adjacent is Taikoo Li, a trendy shopping and entertainment district. It combines modern architecture with traditional Sichuan elements, featuring rows of shops, cafes, and restaurants. The illuminated facades of the stores, along with the stylish streetlights, make it a visually appealing place. Your guide will share interesting facts about the area, from its historical evolution to the latest fashion trends and cultural happenings.

Next, we head to Tianfu Square, the symbolic center of Chengdu. This large public square is magnificently lit up at night. The central sculpture, surrounded by fountains that dance to the rhythm of music and colored lights, is a sight to behold. The square is often filled with locals and tourists alike, some flying kites, others just relaxing. The nearby government buildings and museums, with their grand illuminated facades, add to the majestic atmosphere. Your guide will explain the significance of the square in Chengdu's urban layout and its role in the city's history and modern development.

Hop on your private car, heading to Jiuyanqiao Bridge. Jiu Yanqiao, an ancient bridge with a history dating back centuries, is now a focal point of Chengdu's nightlife. The bridge itself, with its nine arches beautifully lit, is a stunning sight. But the real allure lies in the area around it. A vibrant bar street stretches along the riverbank, filled with numerous bars, clubs, and restaurants. The colorful neon lights, the sound of live music, and the chatter of people create a lively and exciting ambiance. Whether you want to enjoy a drink in a laid-back bar while overlooking the river or dance the night away in a club, this is the place to be. Alternatively, Jinli is a historic street that also comes alive at night. It is designed to resemble an ancient Sichuan town, with traditional wooden structures, red lanterns hanging from the eaves, and cobblestone streets. The street is lined with various shops selling traditional handicrafts, souvenirs, and local snacks. The smell of delicious Sichuan food fills the air, from spicy hot pot to sweet candies. There are also performance areas where you can watch traditional Sichuan operas or folk dances. Amazing Night Tour with...

Amazing Night Tour with Johnny Lee! We had an absolutely wonderful night tour of Chengdu guided by Johnny Lee. He took us to three iconic spots — Jinli Ancient Street, Jiuyan Bridge, and Tianfu Square — each stunningly lit up after dark. Johnny’s commentary was both informative and engaging, sharing local history and fun cultural facts that brought every location to life. What really stood out was how he went out of his way to take fantastic photos of our group, capturing all the best night views and special moments perfectly. The itinerary was perfectly paced, and he made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of the whole time. Highly recommend Johnny as a guide if you’re visiting Chengdu — you won’t be disappointed!

Lovely night tour

Be prepared to walk a lot. I found it packed with different areas to visit. I thought it had a bit of the old and a bit of the new Chengdu sprinkled throughout the evening. I am very pleased with the tour and William was a fantastic guide and our driver was ready and waiting for us each time we visited a new area. Happy I got to see the city at night.
