Description
A fun, splashy half day journey down the Cheakamus River! Bounce through class 2 rapids and float gently downstream and enjoy the beautiful setting of the aptly named Paradise Valley. It's an adventure for the whole family!

Itinerary
The tour begins at our raft base where you will check in and fill out our waiver. Once everyone is at the base, you will be introduced to our guides and given time to change into your wetsuits provided. The busses will then be loaded and you will make your way to the river. At the put in, the guides will get the rafts and gear ready. There will be a safety briefing and you will have time to practice your commands. From there- it's time for some fun! Cruise along the Cheakamus River enjoying the beautiful Paradise Valley from a unique vantage point. There will be tons of laughter and excitement as you bounce through the rapids and moving water. Once you reach the end of the river, the bus will be loaded and the driver will take you back to the base to dry off and change. Say goodbye to your new friends from there and enjoy photos taken throughout the day.

Great if you are a super beginner but it was a bit tame for us. Unfortunately this was the only tour we qualified for with our youngest. That said the staff was very professional. We felt taken care of the whole time. Our guide even gave a great local food recommendation for afterwards.

Everything is done for us to have fun that we experience that we laugh ... our guides were very fine even the bus ride was nice 👍 The descent was quite eventful because it had rained well the day before we watered and swam and enjoy the rapids, our English guide Matt was great We recommend you

I spent half a day with my two kids. We were told we'd do 1.5 hours of white water. Actually, it was 45 minutes. We are stopped on small islands twice. Once to explain the surroundings and the other to have a snack. It was more like passing the time... If you are looking for thrills, do not take this option, it is a tourist catch!
We booked online at the very last minute and Emily was very helpful in facilitating this. The staff were very knowledgeable and gave a good safety briefing. The equipment was in good condition. The experience was excellent. Tara, our guide was friendly, well informed and made the whole experience very enjoyable.

The guides are all first-rate and knowledgeable. We had excellent onshore safety instructions, so we felt confident and safe before we pushed off. It was fun, exhilarating and memorable. Great rafting trip for a first timer. Guides were friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. Breathtaking scenery and perfect weather made this a very memorable experience.

Amazing time! Everyone there was extremely nice and knowledgeable! They made our family feel very welcome and we had a great time!! They all seemed to really enjoy what they do and that also made for a great time. We did the Cheakamus Family adventure and enjoyed every minute of it. We learned about the area, nature and even got to see bald eagles! Snack time on the water was cool and offered a tasty and healthy treat! Tara was our guide and she ROCKED! We highly recommend this company and the guides! GREAT TIME overall!
