Great tour!

Elizabeth had a good sense of humor and a good understanding of politics. She told good stories the kids enjoyed and good at explaining.

Great walking tour, good boat tour

Great walking tour with Jacob!! Very knowledgeable and even took our picture for us. Def recommend! The boat part of the tour was also good. It is a beautiful boat with audio headphones that provide interesting facts about the sights you’re seeing. I would probably have preferred a human-narrated boat tour however.

Not the best use of limited time in Prague

Guided walk is enjoyable but short, the guide did a good job. Boat ride is with canned audio and the river is small. I had expected more.

Operator response

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the guided walk and found the guide engaging. We're sorry the boat portion didn't fully meet your expectations. We do try to describe the experience as accurately as possible in the tour details, including that the cruise takes place on a smaller boat with recorded audio commentary and is relatively short. One of the highlights for many guests is the exclusive access to the Devil's Canal, a historic waterway that larger boats cannot enter. While this section is only about 10 minutes of the cruise, it offers unique views of Prague that aren't available on standard river tours. We appreciate your comments and understand that travelers looking for a longer river cruise may prefer one of Prague's larger sightseeing boats - there are plenty of those options too. Thank you for joining us and for taking the time to share your thoughts.

Wonderful tour with Michal

The tour with Michal was fantastic- he was really friendly and informative. The information provided made the meet up really easy and it ended up being just the three of us. We really enjoyed the boat trip and the tour was definitely a highlight of our visit. We felt it was great value for money too.

Great for the price!

Significant amount of history in a short amount of time. Andy was great guide. Boat ride was slightly disappointing only because they didn’t get close enough for pictures, We were too far from shore and I seemed to always be on the wrong side of the interesting places. Overall very good,

Not impressed

Our tour guide David was excellent… Everything else was garbage. The boat ride was boring, and none of the audio worked for half of the boat.

Operator response

Thank you for your review. We're glad to hear David provided an excellent guided tour. We're sorry, however, that you were disappointed with the river cruise portion of the experience. The boat cruise is operated by a local partner company, and the onboard audio system is managed by them. That said, we take your feedback seriously and will share your comments regarding the audio issues and overall cruise experience with their team. Thank you for helping us improve.

Magnificent Prague and a Wonderful Hotel

Of all the places we visited on the Imperial Europe tour, I was most impressed with Prague. We walked around the Prague Castle and the surrounding buildings and churches with our local guide Andrei, walked across the famous Charles Bridge, crossed the river to the Old Town Square, and had a lunch cruise on the Vitava river. You could see the "little Eiffel Tower" on a hill and numerous restaurants along the river. A pleasant surprise was our hotel, the OREA Hotel Andel's Praha. It looks new, guest room is big and really nice, and there is "Happy Hour" on the 5th floor from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with complimentary sandwiches, different kinds of nuts, soda, beer and wine. I don't know how many rating stars the hotel has but it is near a big shopping mall with a supermarket on the ground floor and a food court on the entire third floor. Two things that are most important to any traveler. The hotel is not in the city center but buses and trams are very accessible. All in all, Prague topped my list because of great sightseeing and a wonderful hotel.
