Cesky Krumlov Full day tour from Prague and back

Description
Our tours to Český Krumlov typically look like this. You will be picked up in Prague at your address that should be in a city centre. The drive in a van for max. 8 people usually takes 2 hours as CK is 175 km away from Prague. You can relax and enjoy views of our countryside on the way. We will park at the main car park and Filip, the guide, takes charge of the tour then. We will climb a short hill to the castle. You will be taken through all castle courtyards, you will learn many interesting stories and you will be shown best places for pictures. We will leave the castle going down to a river, crossing a bridge, where we can have a lunch in a medieval restaurant. After the lunch you will be given a free time to explore the Old Town. You can even leave before lunch to have it anywhere you wish. It is your free time. I will give you recommendations about what to see and about shopping places if you want. We will meet again at the car park in the end and we will go back to Prague.

Since I have traveled so much in Europe, I didn’t find this tour of special interest. However, for those who haven’t visited castles and small villages, this tour would be worth it. The town didn’t have any unique shops and the restaurants were for tourists except for the one our guide recommended down a side alley. That home cooked pork chop meal was a highlight. Prepare yourself for a two- hour one way ride and then back to Prague.
1.5 hour drive from Prague. Good historical comentary from our guide. Plenty of free time to explore on your own.
It is a fairytale town with a lot of history. A must see. Our guide Andrei was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting.
Cesky Kromlov is truly a page from your fairytale storybook. Wandering along the cobblestone roads flanked by pretty coloured houses, where the river meanders through the town exudes a sense of tranquility. Wished we had more time to explore and enjoy its beauty. Thanks to Maya for getting us to and fro safely and to our guide Ondrez for his candid narrations!
This guide does not respond to attempts from Viator to communicate about this reservation. I was charged for it after I had called them immediately after I made the reservation to let them know that I had made the reservation on the wrong date when I wouldn’t yet b ed in the Czech Republic. I called 3 days in a row and was told each day that the guide had been notified and had not responded. After 3 days of calls, I was notified that I would not be refunded and the date could not be changed. I just wanted to change the date. I was charged for 2 people and we could never go on this day and communicated that immediately. This guide communicates poorly with the company.
Our tour guide Honza and driver were great. The driver was onTime and communications clear on pickup. Our guide was excellent. His Czech knowledge was amazingly detailed and kept us engaged. He gave us opportunities to rest while he gave further explanations to the historical information. We had plenty of time to have lunch in one of his recommended restaurants and visit the town before heading back to our hotel.
Absolutely beautiful and magical place to visit. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared some of the history of the country, the castle and the surrounding area. Must go!
Not overwhelming, just a really lovely day, very interesting sites, pretty location. History was very interesting and exploring the town was nice but it is just another town full of tourist shops.
Fabulous day of hiking that exceeded our expectations. The views were breathtaking. The boat ride was the icing on the cake.
2 hour ride from Prague was easy. Picked up on time. Unfortunately it was a very rainy day which put a damper on the walking tour of the town. The guide was very knowledgeable - too knowledgeable. Giving more facts than necessary and could have been more sensitive to keeping guests standing in the pouring rain for long lectures.
