My son, daughter-in-law, and I took a private cooking class with Katia in her home, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Padua. She welcomed us like family from the moment we walked in. We made fresh pasta from scratch, snacked on delicious hors d'oeuvres, and finished with the most incredible tiramisu. Katia is warm, talented, and genuinely loves what she does. You can feel it in everything she serves. If you're looking for an authentic, personal experience, book with Katia. You won't regret it.
Very nice experience, we loved
Our pasta and tiramisu cooking class with Catia was an absolute highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly welcoming, fun, and informative. All four of us had a wonderful time taking turns and actively helping to prepare our delicious dinner. It was a true farm-to-table experience, as most of the ingredients were fresh from her garden! As first-time American travelers, we also appreciated feeling completely safe and comfortable in her beautiful home. We would recommend this experience to everyone!"
A welcoming, fun and delicious meal. This is a hands-on experience in the kitchen with step-by-step guidance on how to make tiramisu and homemade pasta. The host, Catia, was most gracious and enthusiastic. Highly recommended this
It is like being in a home kitchen, learning and sharing Italian cooking traditions with your close friends. Sipping wine, pasta making, tiramisu secrets, eating and conversations. Bellissimo.
Catia is a wonderful host and teacher! We had a great time cooking with her and learning multiple recipes. It truly felt like we were simply guests or old friends in her house. It was a great experience (and so delicious)!
I don't have words to express how great my time with Catia was. I feel like I have a new family member in Padova. I was greeted at the door with a big smile and felt comfortable right away. The hands on experience making two types of fresh pasta and tiramisu was very fun. Catia puts so much love into the experience, putting a lot of time into the preparation so that you have an amazing experience while in her home. Much of the food came fresh from her garden and is seasonal. Every course was delicious! Not only did we cook together but we got to know each other. Catia gave me so many suggestions for my time in Padua and since history of the city, too. I felt like a friend in her home. I highly recommend this cooking experience!
Cátia is the most warm and welcoming person. She not only teaches you how to make pasta and tiramisu but gives the history behind each dish.
We never had the opportunity to experience this class. Our flight was delayed and even though we contacted the operator and Viator as soon as we found out (about 10 hours before the class) We never received a response to reschedule and actually received a message that the host was “waiting for us”. Very poor communication. Unwilling to reschedule, told us to reach out to Viator for a refund. We really wanted the experience not a refund. Very disappointed.
We’re sorry to hear you were unable to attend and understand how disappointing that must have been. As clearly outlined in the booking terms at the time of purchase, last-minute cancellations or no-shows due to personal unforeseen circumstances are not eligible for a refund. Just like flights, hotels, or event tickets, experiences operate with reserved time slots, allocated staff, and limited availability — once confirmed, that space is held exclusively for you. While we truly empathize with unexpected situations, we must apply the same cancellation policy fairly and consistently to all guests. We appreciate your understanding,
Absolutely amazing experience. If you want an intimate true Italian cooking experience, this is it. Catia was an amazing host and not only taught me about cooking, but Italian history and culture. This was my favorite activity during my time in Italy because Catina made me feel like a friend and a guest in her home rather than a tourist.
