This exclusive half-day tour takes in the Cesar Manrique Foundation and his Cactus Garden, followed by a visit to Farmer's Monument. Manrique was admired by many in his lifetime, and his influence on Lanzarote's culture lives on. He was a versatile artist producing paintings, sculptures and architectural works, bringing sustainability to the forefront of his creations, long before it became a buzzword. You'll first tour his Jardín de Cactus where 1,100 species of sculptural succulents are grown. You can see instantly how Manrique's skill and vision enhanced the barren landscape. Been going to Costa Teguise for over 15 years and never done this tour but wow it was brilliant from start to finish the tour guide knew his stuff he was so knowledgeable and shared the knowledge. I was asked is it suitable for kids although no kids on our trip I'd have no problem taking my 9 year old grandson bit of a long day but worth every euro. So much to say about this tour so I think it's easier to share the pictures enjoy .
Truly fascinating and remarkable. The cactus garden was stunning. Cesaer Manrique's foundation was breathtaking. Our guide, sorry I didn't catch her name, was "spot on" and good fun.

A enjoyable, cultured half day trip out. Coach was super comfortable (Tui coach) and the guide was very friendly and professional with interesting information provided en route in German and English as that suited the audience attending. The three stops (cactus garden, Cézar Manrique’s foundation and the Lagomar Museum which used to be owned by Omar Sharif) were perfectly timed with enough time to look around properly and then have a quick browse in the gift shop or drink in the café. I would recommend this tour and was picked up at my hotel. Went alone and felt safe and well organised. So pleased to have experienced some culture in Lanzarote and learnt a lot and saw some fantastic sights away from the commercial hubs of the island.

Perfect tour, lot of time to see everything. We visited Tye Cactus garden, CM Fundation and El Museo Lagomar. Highly recommend.
