Best View of Monterrey. Not even close.

I had a great time on my hike of Cerro de la Silla. The evening view of the city is as good as it gets. It's hard to imagine a better view of any city to be honest. The service was perfect. The hosts/guides are extremely accommodating. I chose to meet them at a standard pickup location, but they will also pick you up at your hotel/house/etc... We started the hike around 5pm. Arrived at the Teleferico site around 6:30pm. As I said, the view of the city is beautiful. The hike is not super trivial, but it's also not too hard. It's probably best if you have some hiking experience. You don't need to be a world class athlete by any means. I am not. But you should be moderately active. Or the hike will be difficult for you. The hike is around 2.6km up Cerro de la Silla. Which is rougly halfway to the top of the entire hill/mountain. Obviously the return trip is 2.6km down. I recommend this activity. You will love the view and you will feel less guilty when you over eat later that night.

Challenger but I loved it.

They passed us at the agreed time. From below they were aware of us when we were doing the tour. My guide is an exceptional person. He pays attention to the people in his charge, as he knows when to stop and what to offer us to make the body react again. He encouraged me to go on and finish on top. I loved the tour. Thanks guys!

An excellent way to view Monterrey and surrounding areas

What a great morning. Deme and I did the first leg in about an hour — I was pretty proud of our pace. He was a great guide, we chatted the entire time up and down, and he gave me lots of tips about Monterrey. I really can't say enough positive things about the hike. It's pretty steep on the way up, but the hike was full of persons of all ages moving at their own pace. This is a day I'll remember. Thank you Deme!

Best Monterrey adventure! Just book it! Yes even in August in evening!

So many good things to say! It was such a wonderful hike and so far my favorite thing I have done in Monterrey. The hike while a bit challenging with incline it is extremely doable for most active people. Polo and Dem were amazing guides. The best I have ever had. They made me feel safe and comfortable the entire time and had no problem taking rests and water breaks when I needed. Also there was great communication leading up to the hike so I was prepared AND they provided so many recommendations and taught me so much about Monterrey. I went solo (and as a female) and 100% felt cared for and had a blast! Also there is plenty of time up top to rest, take in views, eat a snack and take all the photos. Book this company for your next adventure!!

Highly recommended if you like hiking

It's an active hike for sure. Hiking shoes are recommended but I had my athletic shoes on and it was no problem (but it's a little bit slippery). Going up takes around 80-90 minutes and then you'll reach the teleferico where you can enjoy the sunset and see local animals. Coming down took less than 1 hour. Polo let me borrow his hiking stick which helped me a lot. We saw lots of locals running up and down the trail. I recommend doing this tour on a weekday as it will get pretty crowded during weekends.

Best moment in Monterrey

Although there were only three of us, they did the tour for us. Our guide Alejandro took us to the magnificent viewing platform in time. The path was strict but also well doable for our 10 year old son. Upstairs we enjoyed the most beautiful view of the city and the most beautiful sunset.
