Unlike the hidden lagoon of Baltinache, where the distance is the bath of 30 seconds left the bad walk, here was all good. From the guide Alejandro and the driver Marcelo, from Atacama Extrema, who provided us with a wonderful day, to the view of the place, its organization and the afternoon that was divine in terms of temperature. So we didn't take much, we arrived before 14:00 which left us first in the entrance queue of the park. With a backpack carrying towels (from the hotel), slippers and underwear change, we are ready for the tour. You didn't even need hooks, so common on other tours that arrive later or are at higher altitudes. We also take small soaps to remove excess salt. It helped a lot.
¡Muchas gracias por tu comentario! Nos alegra enormemente saber que tu experiencia con nosotros fue grata. Valoramos mucho tu opinión y esperamos volver a recibirte pronto.
Beautiful, and very well preserved, although the walkways are narrow, but safe. The blue lagoon has a special and reassuring energy.
Thank you so much for your review! We're truly happy to hear that you had a great experience with us. We really appreciate your feedback and hope to have you back soon.
While the tour itself was excellent I strongly recommend that you never never ever book through viator again. They have ruined my vacation with the complete lack of communication and a total failure on logistics. I was told five different things about pickup.... It will be at your hotel. It will not be at your hotel. It will be at 2:00 pm.... Be sure to be ready!!! They finally picked me up at 3:10 p.m.. the tour I booked today came back over an hour late. And the afternoon tour I booked today was a complete no-show even though I have a ticket. Viator does not communicate with the local tour operators and they don't care that a tour I paid for was a complete no-show. Don't make the same mistake I did.... You can book direct with all the local vendors here in San Pedro and save yourself a lot of stress and disappointment. But the one thing you will definitely get from viator? Dozens and dozens of marketing emails pop-ups and annoying spam. That part of the experience is guaranteed.
Good experience, informed guide. Bit rushed at certain times, but we were able to swim in less touristy area which was great.
We really enjoyed this tour!! Our guide, Juvenal, was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the Atacama desert. The salt flats were beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the Ojos and floating in the salt Laguna Piedra.
Super relaxed tour mir pisco sour and sunset at the end. You could bathe in one of the salt seen, there are fresh water showers and toilets.
Wonderful place, peaceful, with possibility of bathing (the water is very cold). I recommend hiring a tourist agency (in San Pedro de Atacama) to enjoy the experience without major worries. We have a rich pisco sour at sunset, in the Tebenquiche Lagoon.
Miguel has been our driver and guide during this tour. We loved traveling with him because he was attentive, friendly and funny. We would repeat without a doubt.
The tour takes you from San Pedro to the site of the famous Hidden Lagoons. You can bathe and that is when you can really feel and observe the high concentration of salt in the area. The landscape is beautiful and very contrasting. You also have the option of bathing after visiting the 7 lagoons, which are not far from each other.
Tour was OK. Lagoons were ok but views were spectacular. Tour company is just OK. Pick up time was at 2pm, but they did not show up until 3:15p.
