Description
Our first stop is the Cedars of God forest, where you will get to walk among the majestic and iconic Lebanon cedar trees. Then we will go to Bsharre to visit the Gibran Museum, a former monastery that is the final resting place of the Lebanese poet, philosopher and artist Kahlil Gibran, and now houses his artwork and other belongings. Our last stop for the day is the convent of St Anthony of Kozhaya, one of the many monasteries built in the valley. It is built partly inside the mountain and partly outside, and is surrounded by a very beautiful panorama of forest, rocky cliffs and valley

The tour was completed in complete satisfaction. The man who took the tour with me was always friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions. These were questions about the country or other questions. He was also spontaneous and flexible. Adjustments could be made during the tour. This was not a problem! Suggestions for beautiful destinations were also given, which was especially good, as one does not know the country well! The prices were perfectly fine and in line with the circumstances. I can recommend this company with confidence. People who want to have a first experience in beautiful Lebanon are in good hands with this company.
The best tour company in lebanon. We did two tours in two days and our tour guide Elie was the best. I cannot say enough about Elie, he was professional, punctual and really looked after us as if we were family, a truly genuine person and will definitely be using and recommending this tour company to everyone. Besides the great service Elie was very flexible with time and how long we spent at each location and made sure we were never ripped off when buying from the locals. Elie is very knowledgeable about the locations visited and knew amazing off road spots to view spectacular scenes which made the trip more memorable. If you want a professional, trustworthy, honest and great priced tour company I suggest Elie and his company!! Thanks again for the best time!
Kozhaya is in a beautiful setting and the last 2-3 km driving to it are breathtaking. We had no idea how beautiful Lebanon is. Elie knew all the best view points.
Solo traveler here, While planning my trip, I reached out to several tour offices. Out of them all "Explore Lebanon" took the extra mile and gave more information and hints than I asked for, especially regarding the USD rate against LBP. So I decided to go with them and I wasn't disappointed. Luka was very helpful and sent me a detailed and well organized plan of the whole trip. First day, We went for a hike in the Cedar where the scenery is breathtaking, definitely recommended if you love nature. Afterwards, we passed by Jette, you can see most of Bsharre from there and take stunning pictures, then we went to Jobran Museum and lastly we passed by the Qozhaya Monastery which is historical and date back to the 12th century. I had an amazing time throughout the whole trip, Elie was my guide and I have to say he's an awesome guy, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. He gave me a lot of info about the history of places we visited and even the cities we passed by. In addition to that, we went to additional places that weren't in the plan. He also suggested extra activities that can be done like paragliding, which I tried and just loved! (I advise anyone staying in Beirut to try it out, its an awesome experience)
Our trip was very organised, our guide Elie showed us everything he could on the way to the main attraction, he took his time explaining and we stopped lots of time. It wasn’t rushed and we loved the scenery. This trip for people who appreciate nature and history, well recommended.
We didn’t know what to expect, we were looking for tours in the region and we found Explore Lebanon to be the perfect match. Elie is a great tour guide, friendly, informed and patient. Im sure you will most definitely enjoy your trip with him!

Me and a friend traveled 2 times around Lebanon with Explore Lebanon Tours. Luka and his brother are two great, extremely reliable people. With them we saved money and specially a lot of time, doing so much more than the expected, visiting really unforgettable sites. I really recommend them!

We went as a family to bsharre, we really enjoyed our day a lot... the trip was smooth, we felt so relaxed, and the day went the way we like it, luka added some touches, he took us to the extreme point view, and to a lake... and the trip was full of history, jokes, tips and mostly it was a perfect long day well spent.. thank you

We booked two private tours for our short trip to Lebanon: "CEDARS, BSHARRE & KOZHAYA" and "BAALBEK & ANJAR". As we were two families (7people) we used a mini van and it worked perfect. Nicola, in charge of bookings, was very responsive. Booking arrangements were very quick, easy, smooth, clear and -as we happily discovered later - absolutely reliable! We were punctually picked up by Fawzi who was our driver, guide and companion for two days. He is a very competent, careful and safe driver, passionate about his home country and personal beliefs, communicative, efficient, problem solver, humorous, flexible and very patient with us and our teens! We would definitely come back again to discover more Lebanese sites with Fawzi and Nicola! A la prochaine, as we said for good-bye!
