CDMX - TEOTIHUACAN Hot air balloon flight

It was honestly great and an amazing ride, very smooth, provided coffee and bread before takeoff with complementary shots. Sadly miscommunication brought it from 5 to 3 stars for a few reasons. They had it incorrectly listed that there was entry to the Archeological Site with our package and upon the whats app verification it turned out we did not get entry with our package. We also received little to no information about our flight until 12 hours before other than the meeting location and when I contacted them through Viator, I got one response that didn’t answer any of my questions. We had to continuously contact through whats app, calling and messaging until we finally got confirmation of the meeting place and time. (We chose to not use their transportation services so we needed to know exactly where and when we needed to be there). Cancellation is allowed until 24 hours before the reservation and they said they’d send me the trip info 24 hrs before so we honestly thought it was a scam due to all these factors but we decided to trust the process and not cancel. It all worked out in the end and was an amazing experience but we were genuinely concerned of the validity. Would book again but directly through the company’s website. For you first timers this is a real company and everyone in person was really nice and helpful.

My review is mixed. When I booked a trip, I put my weight in as requested. When we arrived, all the passengers were weighed and I was charged an additional $40 US. Granted I’m a pretty hefty guy. I guess they use more fuel. Secondly, we requested an English speaking guide so that we could learn some facts about the pyramids while we were flying over them. We had a Spanish-speaking pilot. Luckily somebody next to us was able to translate. Not a huge deal, but he was giving us instructions in case of an emergency and it made me a little nervous, that I wouldn’t be able to understand his instructions in a real emergency. Once the balloon was in the air, the ride was very smooth and the views from the sky were amazing.We were hit with pleas for tips and exorbitant prices for the pictures for the photos that were taken. Overall it was a positive experience. It was definitely worth the money in my opinion.

I thought it was amazing. I'd do it again a thousand times. Besides recommending it too much, they're the best company and not resellers.

The trip was unbelievable. Beautiful sites of the pyramids and the team made everyone feel very safe. Sammy was our hostess & she was fantastic & answered all our questions. We also received drone videos & photos from a great guy who I didn’t catch his name. Honestly, especially with the outstanding price for the quality, it’s definitely a must!

Nice and memorable experience! Got picked up early in the morning (took a little more than 1h to arrive) and got a good pastry and coffee right away then we had to go pretty quickly up. Great views with good weather! There are drones you can rent if you want videos but they sound a lot. When we landed we got alcohol-free bubbly that we toasted with and then we went to the restaurant to eat some good breakfast.

We were picked up at the right time, all the people were very nice and helpful. Communication was clear. There was a nice suprise for the birthday of my friend. Overall it was a beautiful and fun tour!

This was a great tour, I greatly enjoyed it and the ride itself was smooth! All of the tour guides are knowledgeable and the tour was well organized.

Be very careful with this company. We made a reservation with them, and our balloon ended up crashing into a house. One person was seriously injured. The problem was that the captain and the company ignored the high wind risks that morning, and the people in charge of stopping the balloon were only three when there should have been eight! This company does not take these high-risk activities seriously, and it could result in a serious accident. Be careful. Tengan mucho cuidado con esta empresa. Nosotros hicimos una reserva con ellos y el globo nuestro terminó chocado contra una casa. Una persona salio gravemente herida. El problema fue que el capitán y la empresa obviaron los riesgos de alto viento de esa mañana y que las personas encargadas de frenar el globo eran solamente 3, cuando debían ser 8! Esta empresa no se toma en serio este tipo de actividades de alto riesgo y puede terminar en un accidente grave. Tengan cuidado.

Had a great day out with this company. Picked a group of us up from our hostel in the early hours and flaked out to the take off site where there was nice fire pits lit. Coffee, snacks and marshmallows provided. We then flew over the pyramids for close to an hour and landed again. We went back to home base where we collected our drone videos. Next stop was an all you can eat buffet. Savage grub altogether which also included a Mayan show with drums and fire. Then a small tour next door to the buffet where we learned about obsidian rock and mezcal. Next stop was the pyramids where we had the option of a tour guide but we decided to just free ball it for 90 minutes which was ideal. Then we got dropped back to the city. Great day. I would highly recommend this company. Ohh also many free shots of tequila which was great too (optional)

Once in a lifetime experience. Sunrise is beautiful. Food and guide were alright. Only downside is that the pickup was early, but once we got there, we had to wait around.
