The summer Gay was absolutely phenomenal with his knowledge of the wines that we had. The chef created fantastic experiences for food and the regions that match the pairings perfectly. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a great wine tasting in Cayton
We tasted 4 Etna wines which were nice. Unfortunately the wine tasting room had a private booking by a chess club so we were sat in the main dining area which had no ambience. I felt this tour was very overpriced for the experience we got. One of the tapas was horse ham which they served knowing a lot of tourists would object!
We spent an incredible day at Mt Etna and in Taormina with our guide Bruna. Such a variety of experiences in one day and Bruna filled it with interesting stories and wine/olive oil tastings. Would make this a high priority for anyone. Bruna will not disappoint!
Great way to experience wines from the area with food also from the area. Learning about Catania and the beauty of the city brought so much more fun into the evening. The room is filled with great visuals and wines of the area.
Beautiful setting inside a wine cave in a very popular restaurant. Delicious wines and pairings of local specialties.
Our guide, Samuela, was very prompt in picking us up at our hotel as arranged. Her car was lively, clean and had plenty of room. Throughout the journey to the first winery, Samuela was very chatty and told us a lot about the area and how the wineries work on the slopes of an active volcano. All 3 wineries were amazing. I’m not a big wine buff, but the wine was great and the accompanying food was fantastic (particularly at the second winery where we were treated to home made pasta amongst other treats). Overall, this was a high point in our week in Catania and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. If I was to be picky, I’d say there is too much food! Please leave space for the last winery where there is a good assortment of Olives, Tomatoes, bread, cheese etc. it’s quite a lot of money, but worth it. Thank you Samuela!
Inspiring wine tasting combined with food. It was possible to buy wines from their extendive wine cellar, too
