Afternoon snorkeling, sunset sailing tour with full offering of drinks and BBQ Chicken Meal. Enjoy the sunset after snorkeling to finish your Costa Rica vacation in luxury. Ground transportation is NOT included in the price. You will need to meet at our departure location in Playas del Coco on the boardwalk in front of Restaurante El Ancla by the big tree with the concrete bench seat around it.

Departing from Playas del Coco at 1:30 pm you will enjoy 4 1/2 hour sail along Costa Rica's spectacular coastline on a purpose built catamaran that is large, open and spacious. We sail along the Gold Coast searching for some of the varied sea life including whales, dolphins, turtles, flying fish, rays and a wide variety of sea birds. Eventually we pull into a secluded bay, throw anchor and allow passengers to swim in the warm Costa Rican waters. Life vests, pool noodles and snorkel equipment are available should weather conditions permit. Following our time in the water, a lunch is served (at approximately 4:30 pm). Our tour includes a premium open bar including a variety of beverages, mixes and a blender to make that extra special tropical drink. After lunch we pull anchor, raise the sails and casually motor sail across the bay and back towards Playas del Coco. We arrive at port as the sun nears the horizon and the sky explodes into a multitude of colors.

Still thinking about yesterday’s snorkeling adventure with Captain Dilan am his amazing staff 🐠 What an unreal experience. They guided us through the most beautiful underwater spots, helped me capture everything on my Insta360, and made the whole experience unforgettable. Grateful for the memories, the videos, and the chance to experience the underwater world in such a special way.
We thoroughly enjoyed our catamaran trip. The crew were friendly and helpful, always checking if we needed anything. Snorkeling was great, saw many stingrays and on the way back we saw jumping dolphins which was amazing. The lunch was delicious and seeing the sunset as we came back to the bat was memorable.
I had an amazing time on this beautiful ship. The ship was clean, the crew members were friendly, and the good yummy! Every little detail had the guests comfort and experience in mind. I saw this most beautiful sunset on the ocean and dolphins were swimming next to our boat. What an amazing experience. Highly recommend!
Great way to spend the afternoon! On a boat, with an open bar, potential to make new friends, snorkeling was nice with a guide there to point out things you might miss, and yummy food for after the snorkeling. The guys on board are great! Luis, the bartender, is quick at keeping up with the delicious cocktails. You can’t go wrong- book the tour :)
This was one of our kids top events from our entire trip. They had a wonderful time snorkeling, and while we didn’t see any whales, we did see several pods of dolphins.
The snorkeling part wasn’t the greatest as far as seeing a lot of fish..but the time you have swimming, jumping off the boat, or relaxing on the beach was still worth it. What made this trip a five star (would give it a 10 if it was out of a 10) was the dolphins we got to see, the sunset, and the entire crew on the boat go above and beyond to make sure you are safe and having a great time. The lunch was delicious and the drinks were flowing.
It was a lot of fun being on the water in perfect weather! One thing is that transportation to and from the venue should be offered as an option.
This was the highlight of our visit to Coco Beach. The crew was very professional, there was plenty of room for everyone to move about, change seating areas, and the food was pretty good. There was a long stop in a beautiful bay area for snorkeling or floating around on noodles -- really spectacular! And (!!) a whale was sighted about an hour into the trip. We thought the music was too loud, but overall, this was a great experience. You will take your shoes off on boarding.
