This is a natural cave system that runs beneath the Southern Alps. The stream flows through the cave, and visitors have the opportunity to walk through the cave as the stream runs beside and beneath you. The cave is about 362 meters (1,188 feet) long where you can walk through.

We were picked up in the cruise port of Lyttelton and taken to several sites to the west of Christchurch. Castle Hills and the Devil’s Punchbowl at Arthur’s Pass were absolutely beautiful. Vivek was very friendly and flexible as he made an additional stop at Sheffield Pies and provided a quick tour of the city of Christchurch.
We had a wonderful day visiting Arthur's Pass and Castle Hill with my two kids. The tour was very well structured and perfectly organized. Our guide and driver, Vivek, was incredibly kind and attentive to our needs, making the experience easy and enjoyable for the whole family. Highly recommend this tour, especially for families!
