Rick did a great job and provided helpful information for the rest of our stay. Pace was perfect and he even provided cold water for us.
Walking in the heat, but all flat. It was great, only six people very intimate and informative. The small group got to see out of the normal things like the restaurant museum.
Small group, low-key tour of the city and its history. We were able to move at our own pace, which was great. Highly recommend.
The tour and tour guide was great! He was very knowledgeable about not only the buildings he showed us but also of the whole area. Very patient, accommodating and responsive to all our questions. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who appreciates history and culture.
Excellent tour. Alex is knowledgeable about the area because he grew up there. He’s personable and funny. It was a great overview of this beautiful area
Rick was my guide for the walking tour of Casio Viejo , Panama City. The hidden treasures walking tour was wonderful. He also took the extra step in sowing us where to eat after tour ended. Very nice person and a great guide. I highly recommend him. I met nice people on this tour as well. Panama City is better than what I expected.
If you like walking and learning about history and culture, then this is the tour for you! Was soooo happy I booked this experience. Expert and patient, Ricardo was a gem of a guide. We learned so much and the time just went by. Would definitely recommend this tour.
I love walking tours...have done dozens of them all over the globe...and the tour that Ricardo took me on was everything I want a walking tour to be...like discovering a new place with an old friend who is a native. Ricardo could speak about history and current events, art and architect, religion and culture. It was an unhurried walk into churches and little museums tucked away hiding in plain sight, shops and monuments, promenades and parks. I had already been to the Casco Viejo twice and seen some major museums and churches...but it was only after this tour that I felt like I really SAW the Casco Viejo. If I ever come back to Panama I would hire Ricardo to take me around other places too. I wish I could have visited Panamá Viejo (the Older Old City) with him. Next time! The price was incredibly fair for the amount of time he spent with me. His English is great. I felt like he was tailoring the experience to my likes and interests as we went along. On tours like these one doesn't only see the part of town one is in, but through it one gets a better understanding of the whole country, its people, history, and culture. If you enjoy walking tours, this one is it. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
