Everything was good except for communication for pickup time. The locations were as mentioned and it was a.good ride.
We had the opportunity to take the tour with Explorando Chiapas and it was an incredible experience as they are very professional, their operators very friendly and attentive. The information they give us is very complete and their sales agents super great, I totally recommend this agency to travel and explore totally to Chiapas, thank you.
This double tour is excellent, even if it takes a total of 12 hours. First to the waterfalls and then to the lakes. The park of El Chiflón is very well designed and conditioned. The walk is very well plotted although it is tired of being up, but worth a lot. You pass through several ponds and falls until you reach near Veil of the Bride. Our tour seemed very cheap ($300 pesos per person) for the whole trip. This tour entered Socoltenango so we did not get so close to the Veil. There is also the option to pay extra for the zip line and it is exciting. The time was very well calculated to be able to tour everything and then move to the lakes. The return was for Comitan so it's more ragged the way. The tour departs at 8 am from San Cris and returns there at 8 pm. Very beautiful everything and well organized.
Chiflon waterfalls is a very nice place, the color of the water is sky blue, there are 3 waterfalls that while climbing the mountain you can appreciate them. The road you travel is in very good condition and the climb is not so heavy. The last waterfall (Wedding Veil) is the most impressive of the three. You can pull down on the river. Lakes of Montebello is also a very nice place; it consists of 52 lakes that can only be traveled by helicopter or plane (I don’t know if you can travel all by car). If you only want to know the site, I recommend paying for the tour, you only travel between 4 or 5 lakes, in some you can make small tours in rafts; the only disadvantage is the time, because you can only be in each lake 20 minutes, the tour takes place in a day (8 am to 8 pm), leaving San Cristobal de las Casas. If you want to take a longer tour on each lake and get to know more lakes, I recommend going by car on your own, you can find cabins near the lakes to enjoy more these attractive places. Don't forget to bring repellent, blocker and something light to warm up.
We bought with this agency the Chiflon Waterfall Tour and Montebello Lakes and we didn’t like it much for several reasons: 1. The waterfalls.del chiflon (wedding veil) are formed with the river channel of the saint vicente. This river divides two communities: San Simon and socoltenango. Each one has access to the waterfalls but has very different facilities and offers different services. The best is LA.DE SAN SIMON because you can get much closer to the wedding veil than the other. Besides the facilities are better and have craft shops and socoltenango no. And when we bought the Tour, we were never told that they made the visit by socoltenango and that we would not get to the wedding veil, which is a beautiful experience because the water reaches you to wet and feel it in your face, is something out of the ordinary, besides that being so close to the waterfall, you can take incredible photos. So the fact that this tour does not offer you that possibility AND THAT THEY DO NOT TELL YOU, we do not like anything. 2. The chofee, super fast driving on our way out. 3.The tour does not include.la.food, which for us is not bad. But what we did not like is that when we arrived in montebello we were not given options of places to eat. We were forced to eat in the “sky dining room” where the.food we don’t like, besides that the portions are very small and where any stew you choose, from among very few options, costs 100 pesos or more 25 pesos if you order a Coke. We don’t like that because if food is not included, they should give you the freedom to choose where you want to eat and there are more options, with quesadillas and dishes from the region. So if one day we come back, we're not gonna hire this agency again.
This activity is a stop that you can not miss! Get ready because it is a tour that will last absolutely all day! In Chiflon you will die of heat and in Montebello you will die of cold, but it is definitely something you HAVE to do!!!! A giant waterfall that as it goes down is forming small pools of a beautiful, transparent and crystal clear turquoise color until down actually where the route begins. However, it is up to the top after more than 400 steps that you can truly observe how imposing the waterfall is as well as its perfect green surroundings and with an air that breathes with a feeling of freedom. Your best photos are going to be here , and one thing you should know (which I discovered arriving) is that there is a place where you can stay, so for my next visit I am really thinking about doing it. I don't know the costs but it looked beautiful. The tour time is very short so surely you will want to return just like me!
Waterfall is super beautiful. The lagoons are beautiful as well, but can get boring since there is not much to do in the area and it is cold.

A beautiful day. Cheaper to buy at the office in San Cristóbal than through Viator, fyi.
