I enjoyed the trip. The day went by fast and it was fun. The tour guide checked on me to make sure I was good as a solo traveler.
This was an absolutely wonderful experience! And additionally, for Jewish people who might have some concerns about traveling to Morocco, I cannot reccomend this experience enough, very much because of our amazing tour guide Sadouk. My best friend and I booked this day trip 2 days ahead of our travel date and it was so worth it! First off, the value is great. A private taxi to Casablanca from Marrakech can become about $180 per person for a round trip. This trip was less than $40 per person and even included a hotel pickup in a luxury van to bring us to the rest of our group. From there, the drive was very relaxing. We were in a large van with lots of seating, A/C and wifi. We stopped for breakfast and coffee halfway to Casablanca. The itinerary includes a visit to the Hassan II Msoque, the beach, and a few market spots. However, once in Casablanca, I shared with our tour guide Sadouk privately that I’m Jewish and was hoping to visit the Beth El Synagogue. My friend’s grandparents got married there about 60 years ago before leaving the country. Once he heard this, he said he would arrange a window of the itinerary for me and my friend’s to visit the synagogue. However, he truly went above and beyond!!! Sadouk was very kind, especially upon learning about my identity, and he arranged this visit to happen in a way that didn’t interfere with the other group members’ time. Following our beautiful visit to the mosque, he dropped everyone at lunch first, and then brought my friend’s and I to the synagogue for 10 minutes. It was perfect and incredibly meaningful to be accepted and embraced in such a way. All in all, this tour was a beautiful experience, particularly the mosque as well, and it had ample timing to explore everything. And it definitely ran past 10 hours because Sadouk and the driver Moor truly want you to have an amazing experience in Casablanca.
Sadouk and Moor made this tour worthwhile for my friend and i to experience the highlights of Casablanca in a day. The entire experience was smooth for us, a car picked us up to bring us to the pickup spot as we were far, and Sadouk even took some time to make sure we could make 1 stop that my friend and i wanted to do in our free time. Had a great experience
