here you will see the old caves and pigeon houses as the base of Uçhisar Castle Uçhisar Castle, the highest rock formation of the region. Your guide will tell you about geological processes that formed this unique landscape. Here you will have some free time to explore by yourself.
Rock-Carved Structures: Structures such as houses, tunnels, dovecotes, and mosques reflect the historical fabric of the region. Churches and Monasteries: Important religious structures such as Balıklı Church, Üzümlü Church, and Geyikli Church are decorated with frescoes from the Byzantine period. Observation Trails: Two walking trails, 170 m and 250 m long, offer visitors the opportunity to explore different aspects of the region.
Devrent Valley, which is also known as Imaginary Valley and also as Pink Valley does not have cave churches like the other valleys of Cappadocia. The valley also has many animal shaped rocks.
In ancient times, this hill was the meeting point of lovers. Lovers used to send small letters and names to each other through pigeons in the valley. However, the doves soaring in the sky are similar, maybe they still bring names to the lovers. In every image that has become as famous as fairy chimneys, wishing trees filled with evil eye beads, tied with rags and hanging pots are also featured here. Those whose wishes were granted would untie the pieces of cloth they had tied and then put them in the water. The branches of the wishing trees were filled with evil eye beads, and the fruits of the tree became these beads.

The itinerary was great, all the places are amazing, however our guide was very vague in his descriptions and didn't provide alotof background information on the places visited. Still a wonderful experience though
