Cappadocia Horse Back Riding Tour Daily/Sunset

I was riding and it was just great! The horses are super well-groomed and good-natured, and you can tell that they are treated really lovingly there. 🐴💖 The team was totally nice and patient – whether beginner or advanced, you immediately feel comfortable and in good hands. The ride was beautiful, through great scenery and in a relaxed atmosphere. I had a really nice time and will definitely come back! Absolutely recommended for those who love animals and want to switch off a bit.

Great experience, horses well taken care of. The views are amazing and the staff are lovely and take care of you, they also take pictures of you while you ride as sometimes it’s hard to do that and control your horse!

I was more impressed than I expected! The staff were all very good people and took pictures of us. I'd hardly ridden a horse before, but I think it's no problem for a first-timer because most of the horses walk themselves. I have very good memories of Cappadocia.

If you’re looking for an exciting ATV adventure, do not waste your time or money with Over Cappadocia. This wasn’t a tour – it was a painfully slow parade. We were forced to ride at a snail’s pace (around 3 km/h, no exaggeration), with absolutely no freedom to explore or enjoy the landscape. The guide rode ahead of us with one hand in his pocket and the enthusiasm of someone forced to be there. No explanations, no interaction, just a bored leader making sure we didn’t dare step out of line. But the worst part? The manager. Completely unprofessional and dismissive. Any attempt to share feedback was met with arrogance and total disinterest. It felt like they just wanted to get the tour over with and cash in – zero regard for customer experience. We were hoping for a fun and free experience, even if it came with dust and no photos. But instead, we overpaid for something that felt more like a school field trip with strict supervision. At a more reasonable price, it might have been tolerable – but definitely not for what they charge. Do yourself a favor and go with another company that actually respects its customers and delivers on what it promises.

We booked the sunset horseback ride for a group of 4 adults. We were picked up from our hotel at around 4:30 pm and joined a group of maybe 15 other tourists at the Ottoman ranch which was only a 10 minute drive outside of Goreme town. The horses we had were quite well behaved. The horses just walk the trail( no galloping or trotting) because in some parts of the trail, the horse has to walk a very narrow path on the cliff, sometimes going downhill or climbing up, with a sheer drop on your left side. So you have to concentrate on your ride, no taking photos on your phone! It is best to follow the advice of the guides to keep your attention. It was nice to be able to ride through the valley instead of hiking the trail. You stop for about 20 mins at the church so you can go up to the church if you wish. It finishes at about 7pm. They take a picture of you as you start the ride and the picture is available for purchase at the end of the tour. Overall a worthwhile experience.

They didn’t respond to messages on TripAdvisor or on WhatsApp, and they failed to pick me up. I’ve been standing in front of my hotel since 5:40am. It’s like they don’t even exist.

One of the best experiences of my life. The view is amazing and the staff is gorgeous. I’ll do it again, highly recommended ❤️🙏

Even though it was my first time riding a horse, I participated in the tour easily. Their horses were well trained and clean. The employees and owners welcomed us with a smile and were helpful.
