Itinerary
Göreme Panorama, one of the famous landscapes of Cappadocia, offers a particularly impressive view, especially during sunset. From this point, you can observe ancient churches and settlements nestled in the middle of fairy chimneys.
The Virgin Mary Church in Nevşehir is an important place of worship dating back to the early Christian period. With its rock-cut architecture and simple interior details, the church offers visitors a valuable insight into the religious and cultural history of Cappadocia.
After approximately 45 minutes of travel, you will arrive at the Underground City. Initially used as a natural freezer by the locals, it later served as a shelter against Arab invasions by the late Romans. With your guide’s narrations, you’ll spend about 1 hour exploring this underground city.
Ihlara Valley is located 52 km away and can be reached in approximately 45 minutes after visiting the Underground City. Formed as a result of volcanic activities of Mount Hasan, the valley features a canyon 80 meters deep, shaped over millions of years by the erosive force of the Melendiz River. Although it is generally associated with long hikes, the panoramic section visited in this program involves a shorter walk — not the entire 3.5 km trail — making it more accessible for visitors.
Belisırma village, located south of Ihlara Valley, hosts one of the famous restaurants in the region. Having lunch here provides an excellent opportunity to taste local flavors and relax amidst beautiful scenery.
A hidden gem of nature, Nar Lake offers thermal waters and breathtaking scenery. Enjoy a peaceful escape and capture stunning photos!
Cappadocia is rich in various natural stones, and onyx is one of them, widely used in the production of jewelry and souvenirs. The Onyx Presentation provides information about the processing and usage of onyx. Visitors have the opportunity to see and purchase various products made from onyx and learn about its features and benefits.

I chose the tour because I wanted to take a cave tour, but I think it's a good tour to do on the last day. They picked up us in front of the hotel and included lunch, so I toured comfortably. I was with Adam guide, and he toured passionately and had a good time.

The best part about the tour was understanding city. Gerome panorama was 10min stop, followed by onyx/jewelry shop with another few minutes to overview the pigeon valley. Then we stop by the lake for 5-10 minutes following by lunch. We set outside, tables were covered with ants, some of us had burned food and salad that did not look fresh. Bathroom had no paper. Overall, looked like rundown place. After we stop in Virgin Mary church for another 10-15 minutes. Our longest stop that was not listed on itinerary is the overpriced shop that sells saffron, oils, perfume, nuts, lokum, souvenirs even luggage. After hearing a sales pitch, the salespeople vultures with the ration one per couple jump and would follow you around, get in your face forcing you to buy something. It was very unpleasant experience. Without making those 2 sales shop the trip could have been 2 hours shorter. Our guide, even though very knowledgeable, was hard to understand because he spoke very fast and not clearly. If I had to do it all over again I would skip this tour and add underground city to a red tour (mix tour)
