We stayed at Hugo's, canoeed and night walk with him. It offers a 5/5 service! He speaks a much richer French than many of our fellow citizens. We loved the night walk, he took the time, his passion for nature is felt. The canoe ride is relaxing and enjoyable, at the rendezvous: caimans, monkeys, lizards, birds... We sincerely thank him, everything was was beyond what we imagined.
Great experience, our guide spoke perfect French, and knew very well the plants and animals of Tortuguero. Very nice atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Hugo takes small groups to guarantee the quality of his tours. The canoe ride was very pleasant, Hugo is good at spotting animals and providing interesting information about them. He is a quiet person and passionate about his work. We highly recommend it if you want to take a tour in French!

When we arrived it was a tropical downpour - they had very heavy duty rain ponchos that keep us dry. Our guide Barnal was very kind and knowledgeable. He made sure everyone saw the wildlife -even teeny tiny long-nosed bats! It amazes me the things he could spot! He took us deep into the canals where it was peaceful and magical. We saw crocodiles, caiman, an anteater, iguanas and so many birds! It was a great trip.
Both Jenni and Byron made us enjoy all the excursions. Byron eagle-eyed did not miss an animal, and showing great knowledge of the jungle. The wonderful canoe trip even though it rained us. And the night interesting.
