Our guide and driver were excellent. They were friendly, good fun and very professional. The driving was safe and sensible. The tour is a long day but definitely worth doing. The reason I have given only 4 stars is that after I had booked and paid for the tour I received a message saying that we needed to bring cash to pay for the the 4X4 to get up Besh Barmeg. This was not mentioned prior to booking and appears to be a way to make the trip appear cheaper than it actually is. While it is only £5 per person, that is not the point. When I questioned it with the company I was told that I could wait in the van instead of going up the mountain, which I clearly wasn't going to do. I'm very disappointed that the company is behaving in this way, which I view as dishonest. On another note, if you use the restaurant at lunchtime don't order the lamb kebab, I got three very small bits of bone and fat with tiny pieces of tough meat on them. Everything that other people ordered seemed a be better value.
It was okay. You can really skip the Five Finger Mountain. Especially when considering the bumpy path. Otherwise, the tour was good.
Our guide Ali was great. He did a good job explaining things. For me Candy Cane mountain was the highlight. Due to the weather we were unable to go to Besh Barmag mountain.
Well organised tour, comfortable van and driving, pickup from hotel on time. The guide was knowledgable and welcoming. Interesting locations to visit.
It was a very informative tour, where unfortunately the weather didn't really play along , Pink Lake and Candy Mountains would have worked even more in sunshine and Besh Barmag was completely enveloped by clouds, nevertheless to recommend
This tour was definitely well planned and built for fun....the highlights are definitely the Candy Cane Mountains and the main attraction without a doubt was the Besh Bermak Mountain with stunning views of the Caucasus and the Caspian Sea simultaneously....we saw eagles just flying by like airplanes....Namik was a really great guide he is very knowledgeable but most importantly he was always keen on making us having fun even during the rides between stops we played trivia and had a blast...our driver Mahmoud had a difficult and challenging task of driving off road and penetrating the Baku traffic and he did it with grace and efficiency....I had a lovely time....
Experienced and knowledgeable guide. Ali looked after every member of the group. We saw and experienced many amazing sites.
Our tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable about the different places we went. The candycane mountain and the mosque were beautiful places to see.
Definitely worth it - Pink lake better than I thought it would be, a few flights of steps for Besh Barnag but again worth it (tea and treats at the top!), and the Candy Mountains were like something out of this world! Only downside is it included the Bibiheybat Mosque, which we visited on a different tour, so we had to wait around.
Good experience. Whole day was full of information and excitement. Going on the top of besh barmag dag was quite thrilling.
