A huge thank you to Gill for a fantastic tour of Canberra! His knowledge of Parliament House, the War Memorial, and Canberra’s history was exceptional, and he shared it in a way that was both informative and engaging. Gill was friendly, patient, and organised, and his passion for the city really shone through. Nothing was too much trouble, and he made the day enjoyable from start to finish. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We would highly recommend Gill to anyone visiting Canberra. Thank you for a wonderful day! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 😊🇦🇺🌟
Long but interesting journey along the Memorial Driveway that runs from Sydney to Canberra with no traffic signals after Sydney city centre. Rest stop at about halfway in both directions. Driver very informative & multilingual. Tour of Canberra very interesting and the drivers commentary was very interesting and knowledgeable. Trip included a great lunch at a local sports club as an all you can eat Buffet. I did the Saturday trip as it has the advantage of Parliament not in session and thus no restrictions on access or photography. Like all of Canberra, the Architecture of Parliament House is spectacular inside and out.

Really enjoyable Canberra day trip from Sydney. It was a long day but never felt rushed. Visited several great spots including the War Memorial, Parliament, and the National Museum, all well worth it. Big thanks to our driver Fernando, who was friendly, easygoing, and kept everything running smoothly throughout the day. Also have to mention the pie stop. Great pies and honestly a highlight in its own way. Simple, well paced, and a great way to see Canberra in a day.
Thank you for the wonderful review! We're glad you could join us.
The tour and tour guide was very good but there was too much for the amount of time. I would off wanted to spend more time at the capital because there is so much to see, one and a half hour is not enough and the kangaroos was amazing the other two items did not amaze us
Thank you for review, we will take note of this moving forward.
I'm glad I took this tour instead of finding my own way to Canberra. My tour guide, Guil, was so friendly and knowledgeable. As a bonus we stopped at an excellent pie shop for breakfast and saw wild kangaroos.
Thank you for joining us! We're glad you enjoyed and Guil helped make it a good time.
Small group tour utilising a comfortable and well maintained mini bus. Our driver was also our guide for the whole days. He was excellent in every respect and his breadth of knowledge was very impressive and we were fed with lots of information relevant to the tour and as the majority of the participants were overseas visitors we also learnt a lot about Australia and how it functions. We visited all the places listed in the programme, although we didn't have anything like enough time at the individual stops. Most of the places visited we explored on our own. But we were taken into each into building by our guide, who would explain what was where and suggested areas we should perhaps not miss etc. At the Parliament House, which is absolutely vast, and which we could not have navigated on our own, he took us round and ensured that we saw all that was to be seen, and we came away almost reeling with the amount of descriptive and factual information we had been given. The was a break midway on the outward and return journeys with enough time to use the toilets and maybe have a coffee. Thie roadside services selected were first class in all respects. Although it was a long day, it was an excellent day excursion to get an overview of Canberra and one that l am most happy to recommend to others.
We are glad this trip was a good one for you! Thank you so much for the positive and detailed review!
Good quick trip to Canberra if you don’t want to spend too long visiting the city but would like to say you’ve been to the capital of Australia. Our guide Fernando was really friendly and nice. He offered to take photos which was really nice if you’re travelling solo as sometimes you miss out. The journey to and from Canberra was long (4 hours) but the time passed quickly with a little sleep and stopping half way at the pie shop for coffee and pie. Overall a good day out to see the highlights of Canberra. Very glad I did it. 👍🏼
We're glad Fernando made you feel comfortable and happy on the trip! Thank you for the review, we appreciate it!
Guilherme was one of the best tour guides I have ever had. While it is a very long day, the pacing was perfect. We had plenty of time at each of the stops without feeling like we were anywhere unnecessarily long. Guilherme was excellent at explaining the significance of what we were seeing. The bathroom/coffee stop in each direction on the drive from Sydney was well timed. The lunch spot at the National Museum had good food choices as well.
We are so happy to hear you had a great time with Guil! Thank you for the wonderful review.
I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed with the historic introduction about every site we visited including about the history of Canberra, about the museums. His personal tour of the Parliament was outstanding. I have even seen such an informative tour in all my experience with Viator tours. It was unfortunate I did not have any cash to tip the guide. It is even amazing to know he was originally from Brazil.!
We will definitely pass your kind words down to him! Thank you for spending the day with us, we are glad we could help make it a good one.. Please note that your tour operator was Colourful Collective Travel. Viator are your online travel agent
