We made the Caminito del Rey today and were absolutely thrilled. Our guide Mercedes was just great – very friendly, competent and with a lot of passion. She explained everything in an understandable way, paid attention to the group and told many interesting stories. Thanks to her, the tour was an unforgettable experience. Clear recommendation!
I don't remember her name, but she's from Venezuela. The woman was super nice and very friendly. It was fun the tour with her as a guide. The tour itself was also very nice and interesting.
I had an amazing experience at Caminito del Rey with our guide Diana. The hike was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the cliffs and the river below. Diana was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts about the area and making sure we were safe throughout the entire journey. Her enthusiasm and passion for the place really enhanced the experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore one of Spain's most famous and scenic trails!
Everything was great. It was really well organized.. Pedro was our guide and he was fun and knowledgable and he made the whole trip interesting.. The views were stunning..! I would highly recommend..!
I have been meaning to do this for a while and I wish I had done it sooner. Stunning views amazing history and an excellent and informative guide. Its quite a walk so wear sensible shoes but dont miss it.
We had a fantastic time walk g the Caminito del Rey with a great guide. The views are stunning! It was also very nice to go with a guide who not only gives some interesting history and information about the flora and fauna, but it’s also just reassuring to have someone who lets you know how much further the walk is as you proceed, and who is there to insure everyone is safe. As it was august it was HOT- however there is some shade and it was quite tolerable especially as it so not that long. My husband and I went with our two adult daughters in their twenties- everyone came away having loved it !
The place is absolutely gorgeous and amazing. The tour was okay, the guide was knowledgeable, but we would have liked to take it a bit slower to enjoy the surroundings. Definitely worth a visit. In a good weather it is a nice walk, not too physically challenging.
Amazing walk!! It was worth it doing it with a guide. Samara was the best guide very nice and very knowledgeable. It is long but doable at your own pace. You have several stops to enjoy the view and drink water. No age limit if you have a good mobility.
Great trip in the middle of nature. What a views are also good if you are afraid of heights. Nice weather too, great temperature.
The experience itself was wonderful, and the guide (cannot remember his name but he was Argentinian) was very good. I would recommend a visit to the gorge, but don't do it with Viator. Only now that I am home and adding everything up have I discovered that Viator used an extortionate exchange rate to bill me in my home currency. I am awake to that ripoff normally, but Viator either didn't disclose it or did it in an underhand way - either way, through applying an extortionate exchange rate, I was charged about 30% extra on top of what was already an expensive Euro price. Organize yourself and visit this area independently - don't pay the outrageous markups that Viator charges. The company makes those Nigerian scam artists look like a charity.
