We are unable to write our experience on this tour because after 30 minutes walking around the Edison Building, there was no Guide to be found. Yes, it rained all day. However, on the advertisement for this tour it says, “Rain or Shine.” If it was cancelled, then a text to notify us would be nice. If it wasn’t cancelled, then we have no idea where the Guide was located. While searching for Guide we tried twice texting the number to reach Tour Operator without a response.
We arrived in Calgary the day before and decided to go on the tour to learn more about the city. The tour was really interesting and we learned so much. It was fascinating. I thought 3 hours would be too long but the time passed really quickly. Emilio was an excellent guide. He was passionate about Calgary and very well informed. However what made the tour so impressive was his delivery. He kept everyone’s attention. I noticed also that he took time to talk to everyone who attended despite there being over 30 of us. I thoroughly recommend it.
Excellent walk around Calgary Lots of hidden gems George and Tasneem were super helpful and showed so many nice places!
The 3h walking tour is a good overview of Downtown Calgary. We enjoyed learning about the history of the area though the guide was not always able to answer many of the questions the group had. (he did not seem to have any particular expertise in Calgary history - we do a lot of walking tours and guides generally seem to be history or architecture students, but I believe our guide is studying business) It was interesting to explore the 15+ connector system in the city. And we probably would never have gone into the library on our own but it is a do-not-miss attraction! We did get charged a "no show" fee but it was promptly refunded when I called and pointed out we did the tour! Our guide was a bit disorganized at the start of the tour.
The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand.
Ntanta was amazing! Really had a good time on this walking tour.
Max, our tour leader was very knowledgeable even though she had only been doing this tour for a short time
Our guide was very informative and helpful. They pointed out many highlights that made for an interesting afternoon.
Very interesting tour of Calgary. Our guide, Max, was enthusiastic about the city and ensured we saw all the main sights and gave us lots of information and quirky facts.
