Embalse El Yeso is one of the many destinations that only one day would take us to visit. The Tinoco tunnel is a great engineering work carved in rock and has a length of more than 600 meters. It corresponds to a construction carried out for the transit of the Puente Alto-el Volcán railway. The train stopped working in 1985 and today the facilities are abandoned.
The Chocolate House is one of the most popular and representative tourist attractions of the Cajón del Maipo tourist destination, a mandatory stop for a large part of the tour operators. Pickup Locations & Times
We pick up and drop off passengers at hotels and B&B in the sectors of Las Condes, Providencia, Santiago Centro, Estación Central as long as they are close to Line 1 metro stations if we do not manage a contact point where they will have to arrive. Pick Up is NOT done at the Airport or at hotels near the Airport. If you are in one of these 2 places, you will have to go to a Departure Point: Hotel Best Western Estación Central (Address: Libertador Bernardo O Higgins 3559, Estación Central district) at the Hotel Door. You will have to wait for the indicated time one day before.

My mom and I had an incredible experience on this tour. It was quite cold and the hike was a challenge, but reaching the goal and enjoying the snow, the clear sky, and the views made it all worth it. Brahian was a great support throughout the adventure, always attentive and encouraging us to keep going. A beautiful experience and 100% recommended!!
I made the reservation and they canceled the tour the day before. I did not receive a credit card refund of R$819,29. I contacted Tac several times and it has been more than 15 days and I have not been refunded. Be careful!!! It's not a suitable company!!!

The guide demonstrated a lot of knowledge about the region, its history, geography and local curiosities, making the journey even more interesting. The driving of the group was done with safety and punctuality, something very important considering the conditions of the road to the dam. A brilliant day visiting Cajon del Maipo and El Yeso Reservoir. Our guide Marco was great, he kept us all well informed and created a really fun atmosphere. Definitely worth the early start to enjoy some beautiful views! The Casa de Chocolate was also a lovely treat, and the great picnic spread was very tasty. All in all, a great day, I'd definitely recommend!
