Burundi Day Trip to Karera Waterfalls- Source of Nile-Gitega National Museum

Description
Led by local guides, these transfers are suitable for any travelers who need to see Burundi privately. The most interesting part of this trip is the dwelling zone along the national road no.7, after the urban center of Ijenda. The tourist will find it difficult to choose between taking views either near the road or on the large vista covering all the hills that endlessly stretch out. In the morning we drive to Rutovu and visit the Source of the River Nile at Rutovu, a not-so-small forest with a river stream that several researchers, including the BBC, have corroborated to be the Source of the River Nile, the longest river in Africa and second-longest in the world. The trip continues to Rutana to admire the amazing Karera waterfalls and ends in Bujumbura after a short stop in Gitega for lunch.

Burundi is an amazing country. Be prepared for bumpy roads outside Bujumbura, but the trip to the source of the Nile and to the waterfalls was amazing, through verdant countyside. Lunch was at the new capital Gitega (we had to pay for this, although the Viator detail suggested it was included). We saw the National Museum in Gitega with a lot of tradional implements and instruments, including the famous Burundian drums. The driver was very nice.
Hi Simon, Thanks for reviewing our services. We are glad that you enjoyed the tour. As for the tour description which seemed not clear(lunch as inclusion), we will make sure the tour is clear enough to avoid any possible confusion in the future. Thanks for having chosen our services again.
