Chor-Minor madrasah is located right behind Lyabi-Khauz, in the open space. “Chor–Minor” is translated as “four minarets”. This name is well justified: the corners of the square-rectangular madrasah building are really decorated with four small minarets crowned with blue domes, different in decors from each other.
Trading domes of Bukhara, a massive complex having a hexagonal orientation. Under its spherical dome there concentrate shops selling knives, jewelries, music instruments and various remembrances.

Ulugbek Madrasah in Bukhara was for a long time followed as an example by builders of Islamic schools in other Central Asian cities. The madrasah was built in 1417 by Ismail Isfagani and Najmeddin Bukhari, the best architects of the time. The structure shows harmonious proportions and forms of its elements; it has little decoration and yet looks impressive and even majestic.
Abdullazizkhan built it in 1651 – 1652 and it is the last large Madrasah in Bukhara. The building is typical by composition, with four-ayvans yard, but with unordinary divergent fan of hudj groups after side ayvans and cupola buildings on the central axis.
Ark-Citadel is a residence of Bukhara khans. According to the last excavations, it was determined the citadel was on this place from 4 century BC. For many years of building and destruction, 20 meters height artificial hill was formed; its upper layers were built over in the time of last Bokharan emirs.
Bolo Haouz Mosque is a historical mosque in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. Built in 1712, on the opposite side of the citadel of Ark in Registan district, it is inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site list along with the other parts of the historic city
The Samanid mausoleum, built in the 10th century C.E., is located in the North-Western part of Bukhara, Uzbekistan, just outside its historic center. The mausoleum is considered one of the iconic examples of the early Islamic architecture and is known as the oldest funerary building of the Central Asian architecture

Noza is an amazing tour guide who is professional, knowledgeable, experienced and friendly. She showed me the stunning and interesting city of Bukhara and I highly recommend this tour
Noza was an experienced, knowledgeable, friendly tour guide who really showed me what a fantastic and historical city Bukhara is. Highly recommended.
Riveira Travel. It is advisable to book in advance as the high demand limits access to fast trains and flights.
Highly recommend this day trip and 5 stars to the operator Gotouzbekistan. The entire trip was amazing, starting with the train journey, the mouth watering lunch and the historical tour of Bukhara. The tour guide Dilfuza was very professional and knowledgeable. Her friendly welcoming attitude and patience (we had a 5 year old, so you can imagine) made the tour all the more great.
Thank You! We are always ready to provide best travel experience across the Uzbekistan
Bukhara surprised me with its rich history, which was conjured up for me by an excellent guide. We had a pleasant walk through the city, which ended with a delicious lunch. Overall rating 5 stars. The logistics of the trip from Tashkent, organized by GOTOUZBEKISTAN, were also very convenient, despite the dynamism. I hope to return someday.
Visited Bukhara on November 2, 2025. Our guide was the beautiful Noza. To say we're lucky is to say nothing. It was a great tour, we listened to the guide to the point where we almost missed the train. Our guide is a highly educated and fully developed person with a deep knowledge of the history of the native region, namely Bukhara. At every turn, she provided not only historical background, but also added legends to it all. She gave a tour of the holy site as a gift. She knows how not just to convey the facts of history, but to immerse an ancient city in the atmosphere, revealing its mysteries, legends and culture. I thank this city came alive before our eyes in all its glory. Noza managed to adapt the route to our interests. Organization of the tour at the highest level. If the guide is in Bukhara, only the incomparable Noza! By the way, Noza met us on the apron waiting for the train station and walked us back! Thank you very much!
What started out as a very unorganised day - limited information, train ticket timing not shared, at the train station way earlier than required, and no driver on arrival in Bukhara (despite the advanced booking), did eventually turn into a great day with our Tour Guide who was incredibly accommodating and informative about the Sites in Bukhara and the Bienelle taking place.
Dear customer, thank you for your review. all the information regarding train timing are clearly stated in the train ticket we provided, which is easy to go throu. In Bukhara the driver was late little bit becouse it was a Friday.
Mirzo, was very nice and kind. This tour is must for people who wants to try other than history. Lake , trekking , cable car and chair lift( becareful very scary). All must do things here.
Excellent activity. The local guide in Bukhara takes care of everything: explanations about the city, tickets to the monuments, and arranging transportation between different points in the city and to the airport. The restaurant chosen for lunch is wonderful, with beautiful décor and style, plus the food and service are excellent. The only inconvenience is that you have to find the local guide upon arrival in Bukhara, there is little time for shopping, and there is a long wait at the airport before taking the domestic flight to Tashkent.
Another great tour from Gotouzbekistan company. Both train to and flight back was smooth. They communicated very promptly about pickup and drop off. At Bukhara, I had two guides, mother and daughter, my first. Both Dilfuza and Gulirano were excellent. They explained everything about the city. Took me to a local place for lunch and the food was excellent. Overall I had a great time. I would definitely recommend this tour and the guides. You won’t be disappointed.
