Buggy Tour Sal Island

Pick up was on time and right outside our accommodation, taken to the base where we signed forms and got a basic briefing. It’s not mentioned in booking but you MUST have driving licence with you or at least a photograph of it. Tour it’s was fun however very slow paced mainly due to a slow person in our group we had to wait for. Places visited were interesting but be warned there are hidden extra charges not mentioned in booking that you will need cash for. At shark bay you are charged €3 per person to simply enter water, regardless if you borrow shoes or not and at Piscinas de Sal it’s €6 per person to enter. Tour guides were good and knowledgeable but didn’t ever give information about cost of the places we visited. Overall tour would have been more enjoyable if all costs were known and we didn’t have to go so slow or wait for the last person.

We had an amazing buggy tour! Everything was well organized, and the ride was so much fun. A special thank you to our guide for being so kind, positive, and friendly throughout the whole experience. Very fun afternoon, let down due to the time it took for a wheel to be changed after getting a puncture (the base was 10 minutes from where we were on the main road, however took 1.5 hours to await someone to turn up, who didn’t turn up with the equipment needed to change the tire. Ensure you take water as none is provided

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An incredible experience! The buggy tour was undoubtedly one of the best activities we did in Cape Verde. The landscapes are spectacular and the route was very well organized. We want to especially thank our guide, Yeison, for his professionalism, friendliness, and for making the entire experience fun, safe, and interesting. He was always attentive to the group and explained each place with enthusiasm. We also want to highlight the excellent work of the photographer, Flavio, who captured incredible moments throughout the tour. His photos perfectly reflect the excitement and beauty of the experience, and we took home a fantastic memory of the trip. We recommend this tour 100%.
