There was no wine tasting and that was the main reason I picked this tour. Pick up was on time. Went to different areas but limited time off the bus. If you no longer offer the wine tasting then please take it off the description.
Dear mbava138, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry that the wine tasting was not available during your tour, especially since you mention that it was the main reason you selected this experience. We completely understand your disappointment. Your tour took place on May 25th, a special national holiday in Argentina, and unfortunately the wine tasting venue did not operate as expected that day. That said, we fully understand that this should have been communicated more clearly in advance, and we are already reviewing our internal process to make sure this does not happen again. We are glad to know that the pickup was on time and that you were able to visit different areas of Buenos Aires, but we regret that the experience did not fully meet your expectations. Please feel free to contact us directly through Viator, as we would like to review your case and offer a fair goodwill gesture for the missing wine tasting. Thank you again for your honest feedback. It helps us improve and continue working to provide better experiences for our travelers. Warm regards, Sebastian Sanchez FONTENAY TOURS
The arrival time was scheduled to be 9:30 AM, and we waited since 9:00AM as it was requested by communication that we should be out and waiting at 9:00 AM. Two of my friends who were suppose to go with us left after waiting by 10:00 AM. And then bus showed up. So only two of us boarded the tour instead of four. Once on the bus the guide was very good and we enjoyed the tour very much.
Hello Dharmender, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are truly sorry for the delay at pickup and for the inconvenience this caused your group. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to wait that long, especially knowing that two of your friends were unable to join the tour because of it. At the same time, we sincerely appreciate your kind words about the guide, and we are very happy to know that once the tour began, you enjoyed the experience. At FONTENAY TOURS, we work hard to provide a smooth and enjoyable experience from the very beginning, so your feedback is very important to us. We will carefully review what happened with our team, as punctuality and clear communication are essential to the level of service we want to deliver. Thank you again for your honest feedback. We truly value it, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and provide the excellent experience you deserved from the start. Best regards, Sebastian Sanchez
The guide was very knowledgeable and we saw a lot in a short time! They cover a lot of the city so you spend a good amount of time in the van and I wish I had more time to walk around and see things on foot. But it’s a great way to see the city at the beginning of your trip and get a lay of the land.
Dear Olivia, Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It truly means a lot to us. We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that our guide’s knowledge helped you discover so much of Buenos Aires in a short amount of time. Our goal with this experience is precisely to give travelers a broad introduction to the city so they can get a great sense of its neighborhoods, history, and atmosphere at the beginning of their trip. You are absolutely right that covering many highlights in one tour means spending some time in the vehicle, but we’re glad it still helped you get a good “lay of the land” and orient yourself in the city. Many travelers use this tour as the perfect starting point before exploring their favorite areas on foot afterward. Thank you again for choosing us to be part of your visit to Buenos Aires. It was a pleasure to welcome you, and we hope to see you again on another adventure in Argentina! Warm regards, Sebastian Sanchez
