Itinerary
After meeting your guide in San Telmo, listen to a quick safety briefing before receiving your bike (a comfy beach cruiser) and helmet. Begin with a cycle around San Telmo, one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods, known for its well-preserved colonial architecture. See its many attractions, including the Russian Orthodox Holy Trinity Church, San Telmo Market and Dorrego Square, the heart of San Telmo. Observe life in the square’s cafes, bars and shops, and watch for spontaneous tango performances – San Telmo is the center of tango in Buenos Aires.
Surrounded by cafes, bars, pubs, antique and craft houses. Plaza Dorrego has music and dance shows, including tango and on Sundays the “Feria de San Telmo” takes place in this streets.
We will continue to “Parque Lezama” which has rustic catwalks and half-under-ground installations.
Next, ride into La Boca, Buenos Aires’ most colorful neighborhood, where a European atmosphere has remained strong since the neighborhood was settled by Italian immigrants. The district is popular with visitors for its brightly painted buildings, especially along the Caminito – the neighborhood’s main (pedestrianized) drag where you can see local artists selling their work.
Then, head to the newest neighborhood in the city: Puerto Madero. Its old docks have been transformed into restaurants, lofts and offices, which boast incredible views of the city. From there, continue to the Ecological Reserve, a 865-acre nature reserve that lies between the city and the Rio de la Plata.
Finally, visit Plaza de Mayo, the scene of all major political events in the country since the founding of Buenos Aires. Take a look at the Government House (Casa Rosada), the Cabildo, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the main public buildings.
Throughout your tour, your entertaining and informative guide will regale you with fun facts about Buenos Aires’ rich history and provide commentary about the sites you’re passing. You’ll also break periodically to stretch your legs and take photos, ending your tour in San Telmo.

Great tour with a great guide ( Nestor ), he shared very interesting information, our kids ( 15,13 ) and us absolutely loved it, definitely recommend it.
We learned so much from our tour guide, Flo. We biked all over the southern part of BA. She's super knowledgeable and was just excellent!
We were well taken Care of by Barbie, who tooks ud through San Telmo and La Boca. I was a bit overheated during the tour, but Barbie was really good at checking in. A really good way to see the city, if you don’t have that many days.
Thank you for the kind words! We're glad Barbie took good care of you during the tour. Your comfort matters, and we're pleased to hear she was attentive. We're thrilled you found the tour to be a great way to explore the city in a short time. We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again soon!
Ride was mostly along trails which felt safe and well planned. Our guide was engaged and had shared her knowledge and some history of Buenos Aires. A great way to start your visit to the city to get your bearings and learn some important info (like don’t visit Boca in the evenings). The ride through the preserve was dusty and “meh” as not much in the way of wildlife you can see.
Dear Dave Thank you so much for sharing with us your experience on your tour. In this excursion, we can see an important extract of our history and city. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed the knowledge of our guide. Your words make us very happy, and we really appreciate your time to write this review!
Our small group tour (4 riders plus the guide) had a glorious summer day's ride on the South Side. Its one of the best ways to see BA (or any city) up close. Our guide (apologies for not recalling her name) was really personable and knowledgeable so it was a fine learning experience as well. The bikes were in good condition and the riding fairly easy, mostly flat and only a limited amount in traffic (BA has lots of bike lanes). We are in our 60's, not athletic, and it was fun and easy.
Dear Kathe, Thanks for your review! We are really happy to hear that you enjoyed the Bike Tour around the south area of Buenos Aires and that the tour guide made a great experience to all of you! Hope see you soon, Kind regards,
Great afternoon trip. La Boca district was my favourite part, so colourful and lively. Streets filled with artists, dancers, food and music. Cycling was easy and safe. Very efficient way to see a lot of areas quickly. Our tour guide, Nestor was friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Worth doing!!
Barbie was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable and passionate about buenos aires. She took care of our safety. Great value for money. Highly recommended.
We had a nice tour with many information and fun facts about the city and our guide Marina was very nice and could answer all the questions. All in all very recommendable!
Dear Traveler, Thank you for sharing with us your experiences with the Bike Tour. We are pleased to know that you have enjoyed Buenos Aires city. Will be a pleasure to assist you in your next visit! Greetings,
So I will start with the positive: we had a friendly informative guide and were able to cover a lot of ground in a short time. I feel like I got a general appreciation for BA. The drawback is that you are weaving in and out of traffic, which was downright scary.
Had a great guide and really enjoyed my bike tour! Its quite flat, we saw a lot of the city, and I enjoyed learning about lots of history.
