Next up is a fast-flying, 1300-foot water slide through the forest, inviting big smiles as you zip, twist and turn down the contours of the slippery chute. After a sufficient amount of adrenaline-filled activity, enjoy a leisurely horseback ride or behind a tractor-pulled cart to a rustic spa. Excellent day of activities. Highlight of our week. Great pickup service from hotel, and excellent service and guides. We went early during the day which was wonderful as a little quieter. Zip lines were great, and the hot springs in beautiful setting.
We went to meet Mercedes, the dexSoriano capital and it was a lovely and pleasant experience. We dined at a barbecue on the Mercedes rambla enjoying the rich food while admiring the peace of the river. We also went to Villa Soriano on the catamaran Soriano I, an extremely fun and recommended ride. We stayed at the Rambla Hotel Mercedes, a solid and beautiful construction facing the river, full of spaces to enjoy and relax. In short: Mercedes is a beautiful city with many walks, good food and accommodation, friendly and quiet people. Don't stop visiting!
Was a great experience, Steven and Antonio were great . This defines a must when in Costa Rica. The atmosphere and Arua around the place was so zen and incredibly.
Had a great day. This is a fun filled day tour. We rode horses up the mountain, zip lined down, went down the slide, relaxed with a mud bath and swim, and finally had a good meal. I would recommend the full day tour to anyone wanting great fun and awesome views.
The guides are great help! They made a point to remember everyone's name. The guides make you feel safe and happy. We had an amazing time.
My husband and I booked this excursion, and it did not disappoint! The ziplines were the longest and fastest that I've ever been on. The waterslide was insane! I definitely didn't think that would be my favorite part, but it was. At one point, you're going around the curves so fast you're wondering if you're going to fly out! Tip: Don't wear a two-piece, or they'll make you wear a diaper type contraption so you don't get a massive wedgie. The horses were all well-nourished (I've been on an excursion or 2 where I thought the horses weren't being taken care of - but not here.) Overall a wonderful experience!
My husband and I did this tour and it was great! We especially loved the zip line and water slide! There was also sauna, hot springs, horseback riding, buffet lunch, coffee & sugar cane tasting, a pottery presentation and some tourist shopping at the end. The best thing about it was our guide, Eric! He was so knowledgeable about EVERYTHING and even gave us some history on coffee in Costa Rica. He had the best personality and remembered every single persons name on the tour and there were like 60 people there!
