Itinerary
We visit one of the Budapest's most authentic butcher and grilled sausage bistro, where we sample various cold sausages. This location was also visited by the late Anthony Bourdain when we was shooting Parts Unknown's episode of Hungary.
We pass by Kalvin Square to visit our Goulash shop, a local restaurant specializing Hungarian Goulash, like you've never tried before!
As we walk across the picturesque Vaci Street of Hungary, we will make stops at some of our most traditional Street Food Stalls, to try Hungarian delicacies like Langos and fresh Chimney Cake.
At the end of the street, be our guest for a special Hungarian surprise, something that would keep you warm and really help the spirits!
We wrap up our tour at Grizingi borozo that is a Hungarian style taverna and winery, where we'll try some local wines, straight form the supplier as well as a traditional dessert!

Great tour with a great variety of dishes! Plenty for everyone to try, we were stuffed at the end. Flora our guide was lovely, she helped to order and brought the dishes to our group seamlessly. A few fun bonuses as well. Thank you for a great experience!
We enjoyed the food tour very much. We met some fun people and got to try a bunch of regional specialties. My only suggestion is to make sure you bring a bottle of water because water is not offered at all of the restaurants.
Amazing experience, Flora was a very knowledgeable host who told us lots about the history or each dish and about Budapest/Hungary in general. Highly recommend this tour
Amazing tour today with Flora. Flora was very knowledgeable and each stop in the tour was full of local history and amazing food/drink
Loved this food tour! The perfect overview of Hungarian food, drink and the context with each item we had. I never would have discovered these on my own or expected to have to force myself to finish our last tasting (the food was great and generously portioned!). Flora was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole evening feel like exploring the city with a local friend. Definitely a highlight of my time in Budapest — highly recommend!
Flora did a very nice job of sharing information and helping us throughout the tour. I would recommend it wholeheartedly!!
Our guides Niki and trainee Dani were awesome. Niki gave us very detailed information about where we would go, what food and drink we would have and the traditions behind everything. We learned how to toast, tried great food in restaurants we would never find as tourists, and came away with a better knowledge of food, spirits and wine culture in Hungary. A must see and do experience while you visit Budapest! You won’t be disappointed, everything was delicious!
Niki was great. Great mix of history, culture, and food!
