Itinerary

Pass by

Perched on Castle Hill, Buda Castle dominates the skyline on the Buda side of the river. This historic palace complex was home to Hungarian kings for centuries and now houses museums and galleries. It’s beautifully lit at night and clearly visible from the boat.

Pass by

This sleek white suspension bridge connects the city across the Danube with a modern design that contrasts with Budapest’s historic architecture. Named after Queen Elisabeth (“Sisi”), it offers a beautiful view from the water, especially when lit up at night.

Pass by

Rising high above the Danube, Gellért Hill offers panoramic views of the entire city. It’s home to the Citadel fortress and the Liberty Statue, both visible from the river. At night, the hill glows with lights and adds drama to the Buda skyline.

Pass by

Built in the 16th century during the Ottoman era, Rudas Bath is one of Budapest’s oldest thermal spas. Its distinctive dome and riverside location make it easy to spot from the boat. The bath is still in use today, known for its healing waters and rooftop pool.

Pass by

This green steel bridge connects the Great Market Hall on the Pest side with Gellért Hill and the famous baths on the Buda side. Built in the late 19th century, it features ornate turrets and decorative elements, and it’s especially striking when illuminated at night.

Pass by

Housed in an elegant neo-Renaissance building along the Danube, Corvinus University is one of Hungary’s top institutions. Its grand facade faces the river near Liberty Bridge, making it a notable sight from the boat, especially when lit up in the evening.

Pass by

This large, colorful building near the Liberty Bridge is Budapest’s oldest and most famous indoor market. Its Zsolnay-tiled roof and grand structure stand out along the river. Though not directly on the waterfront, it’s easily visible from the boat.

Pass by

Budapest’s most iconic bridge, the Chain Bridge links Buda and Pest with its grand stone arches and suspension chains. At each end stand massive stone lion statues, guarding the entrance since 1852. The bridge is beautifully illuminated in the evening.

Pass by

A stunning example of Art Nouveau architecture, Gresham Palace sits at the foot of the Chain Bridge on the Pest side. Once an insurance company headquarters, it now hosts the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel and shines beautifully at night.

Pass by

Travelers will get a stunning view of the Parliament Building from the river. This Gothic Revival masterpiece is one of Budapest’s most famous landmarks, with its grand dome, spires, and riverside location. It looks especially breathtaking when illuminated at night.

Pass by

This elegant yellow bridge connects Margaret Island with both sides of the city. From the boat, travelers can admire its unique Y-shape and iron structure, beautifully lit at night. It’s one of Budapest’s most iconic and historic bridges, completed in the 19th century.

Pass by

From the boat, travelers will enjoy panoramic views of Margaret Island, one of Budapest’s most peaceful green spaces. The island is located in the middle of the Danube and is famous for its parks, musical fountain, medieval ruins, and running track. It's especially beautiful at sunset.

Pass by

Travelers will spot the colorful roof and tall spire of Matthias Church high on the Buda side. This 13th-century Gothic church is a key landmark in the Castle District and stands next to Fisherman’s Bastion. Its illuminated facade is striking at night.

Pass by

From the boat, guests can enjoy a postcard-perfect view of Fisherman’s Bastion, a fairytale-like terrace on the Buda side. With its white towers and panoramic lookout points, it offers stunning views over the city and is beautifully lit after dark.

An excellent tour. Great city sites

Loved doing this at night. Skip the booze cruises and go with this ship where everybody can fit on the top of the ship and everyone has a great view of the city. You can bring your own alcohol if you want to have a glass of wine and the quality of the tour in the people on it is just fabulous without the extra booze running around

First Danube cruise

Everything was magnificent, punctual, and kind; we had a great time, everything was perfect, nothing to say, we will do it again when and if we return to Budapest.

Budapest lights

The boat cruise was low key without all the dance music compared to other ships. The evening lights from Budapest were brilliant and the cost was very reasonable.

Not excellent but acceptable

It was cold and no one told us that there is a possibility to go down inside. The view was nice but still no story was spoken on the microphone 🎤

No frills. As expected

Basic as expected. No frills. A chair and a 50 min sailing trip. No guide no food . Again as expected and what I paid for. Worth mentioning the boat leaves and arrives from the Buda side

A wonderful experience

It was the most beautiful night-time cruise on a quiet and peaceful ship. The staff was kind and made sure no one skipped the line, which we really appreciated since we arrived first. Really worth the money. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone!
