This tour is designed to uncover the well-known facts and lesser-known personal stories of WWII, as the mass deportation of Hungarian Jews was the largest Holocaust killing after 1942. You’ll discover fragments of the old ghetto wall and walk through the former center of Hungarian Jewish cultural life, passing by the elegant Kazniczy Street Synagogue. - This is a moderate 2.5–3.5 km walking tour with some uneven surfaces or steps. The guide will adapt the pace.
