Fantastic E-Bike Tour Through Budapest with a Knowledgeable Local Guide

I had an excellent tour with Oliver. I got upgraded to the e-bike tour, and it was great fun — especially riding up to Buda Castle at 25 km/h with very little effort. Our group received thorough instructions on how to ride the e-bikes, which made everyone feel comfortable and safe. Oliver, a native Hungarian, was extremely knowledgeable and shared fascinating historical insights at every stop. The tour was very well paced and covered all the major highlights of Budapest. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a more personal alternative away from the large tourist groups and crowds. Also worth mentioning is the lovely little shop, “Bike & Relax,” where the tour starts and ends. The MyEsel e-bikes, designed in Austria, were fantastic to ride and offer support levels from 0–5 depending on how much assistance you want during the ride.

Operator response

Dear Myriam, many thanks for sending such a detailed feedback! We love it. Great to hear that you enjoyed the tour so much. We wish you a nice stay in Budapest! Thomas & Team

E-bike tour fantastic

We were fortunately upgraded before our departure to an e-bike tour. The bikes were really good and made seeing the castle on the Buda side easy work but so worth the journey. Very interesting tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Overall fantastic and so pleased we booked this tour. The bike company were very friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Operator response

Many thanks for sharing your view and we are glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour so much. Thank you also for your flexibility, due to the no-show of a group we had to reschedule, thanks again!

Hungarian native Bike tour of Budapest.

Had an excellent tour with Oliver. First we decided to upgrade and get ebikes. Were charged $10 euros more each. Received thorough instructions on how to ride an electric bike. Oliver, a native Hungarian, was very knowledgeable and gave us a history lesson at every stop. He shared his culture, food, and pride of his country. We enjoyed our tour, which was well paced and covered all the highlights of Budapest. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Operator response

Dear Myra, many thanks for this well thought over feed-back! Enjoy your stay in Hungary and have a safe trip home!

A very nice moment

We took a 3-hour guided electric bike ride with Imola in November. Despite the cold, it was really great: very few people, a pleasant atmosphere and above all full of exciting historical anecdotes. Imola was really great: friendly, attentive, she answered all our questions and even shared some practical tips. The bikes were of very good quality, and the electric assistance makes it easy to cross the climbs and travel a great distance to discover all the essential points of the city. We were lucky enough to be only two for this visit, which made the experience even more personalized: Omola has adapted to our rhythm and our desires, for a truly tailor-made walk. Thank you for this great time! 💛🚲

Operator response
