We invite you for a scenic tour to the ‘cradle of Hungary’ to merge in history! We take a ride to the former royal towns of Hungary. In Esztergom from Cathedral Hill you can enjoy the best view opening onto the river and to Slovakia. You may visit the Cathedral, the largest Roman Catholic church of Hungary. We cross the river and the border to Slovakia to have the stunning view from the opposite side. We proceed to Visegrád, the heart of the Danube Bend, where we will treat you with 3-course lunch. Our restaurant overlooks the river bend and the famous castle that was once a seat of the Hungarian kings. We pass by Solomon Tower, once the prison of Count Dracula. The tour continues to Szentendre. Explore the town of artists and arts, famous for its museums, bars, cafés and boutiques. Return by boat only between May - September, only on Friday + Saturday + Sunday tours.

Danube Bend Excursion: A Journey Through Hungary’s History Discover three historic treasures in a single day along the scenic Danube Bend. Begin your journey with a brief stop across the border in Slovakia, then return to Hungary to explore Esztergom, the historic center of the Catholic Church, where you’ll enjoy an interior visit of the magnificent Basilica. Continue on to Visegrád, where breathtaking panoramic views of the Danube await you, paired with a delicious lunch overlooking the iconic river bend.
Take a look at the open-air exhibition of young Hungarian artists, then wander along the twisting, cobblestone alleys, soak up the Mediterranean atmosphere.
At the end of the tour return to Budapest on the Danube by public scheduled boat ONLY on Friday-Saturday-Sunday & (May to September) – the tour ends at the Pier/City Centre.

It was a very nice tour, professionally handled , with a knowledgeable tour guide named Kristina. She really knows her Hungary history and shared it with enthusiasm. Sites cited were great and rather than by bus the tour ended with a riverboat. Highly recommended.

Nice day in northern Hungary. Enjoyed seeing the countryside and driving through the villages. Beautiful basilica - nice Danube views. Yolanda was very informative and managed guiding in two languages very well.

The Sunday trip was rainy, so focusing on the beautiful nature and cities of Hungary was not the best possible. The trip was well organized. Special thanks to Kristiina, she took good care of even the solo travelers.
