It was fun to bike around town but I think our guide was very fast and ahed of us much of the time. I also think he know some things, but could not elaborate in any length or details. Nice overview and exercise but not a lot of information.
Johnny is a great guide with in depth knowledge about Budapest. Really enjoyed the time in the city park on the island.
We loved this tour. Jose was so lovely, very interesting and even gave me his electric bike to get back when the sun got a bit too much for me. He was great with our 12 year old daughter too as she kept engaged in the history. Would 100% recommend.
I chose the Ebike which turned out to be a blast. Unless you are Lance Armstrong (before the doping scandal), you will appreciate the power assist when riding up the Buda hills. The Buda side is very hilly but you get fantastic views of the river and the city of Pest. Johnny was a fantastic guide. He was fluent in English, well versed in history and Budapest, and he was flexible based on the group's needs. I saw all the major tourist sites in both Buda and Pest and the guided bike tour is a great way to safely see more of the city (vs. a walking tour) if you enjoy biking outdoors. I rate the tour and Johnny the tour guide 5 stars. Well done.
What an incredible way to see the city and the sites! Our guide Marco, was informed and flexible. He gave us a history and fun facts rundown at numerous stops and gave us an opportunity to explore some stops a bit more as we desired. Mostly flat with a few small climbs to access the bridges. Really perfect way to spend a nice day in Budapest and see it ALL!
Marco was our guide, Rey courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. Our trip with him was a pleasure. Byke and helmet were fairly ordinary,
Phillipe was so open and generous with his time to get us comfortable from the start. He made every concession to ensure we had a good experience. He worked hard to find common ground with my group and it made a strong impact on our enjoyment of our tour. We had a wonderful time.
My sister and I had a brilliant time on this tour, as there were only two of us and our guide, Filipe, who gave us the choice if we wanted to go up into Buda or stay on the Pest side. We went over to Buda, although I did walk up the hills, and his recount of the history was brilliant. The views were amazing and he gave us tips on where to go the following day. Filipe was friendly and knowledgable and I would definitely recommend the tour. The majority of the tour would have been flat (our choice to go up hills) and the route was relatively quiet and easy to cycle.
This is a lovely way to get to grips with the city. Our guide, Sam, was excellent. He asked us at the beginning if we were interested in history, which we were and so he told us loads about the city and we found the history super interesting. He also gave us some great recommendations for what else we should see whilst we're here. This is a great way of covering essentially the whole city in a short time frame. The bikes were well maintained and we stayed mostly on cycle paths too so felt v safe whilst being able to look around as we were cycling.
Great fun! Our family really enjoyed this. Highly recommend. Thank you to Johnny for keeping us entertained with fun stories and history of Budapest
