Budapest: 1-Hour Highlights Cruise with Welcome Drink

Description
Enjoy a beautiful and relaxing introduction to Budapest on this 1-hour, evening sightseeing cruise. See the many famous buildings along the river (the Banks of the Danube is a UNESCO World Heritage Site) with a beverage in your hand. Not guided tour. Experience the city more like a local - the boat functions as a floating coffee house or pub experience with its own bar available during the cruise. The city floats in the floodlight when the time of the day allows that. (As Budapest uses the illumination to commemorate certain events(, like Earth Hour, Fight Against Breast Cancer, national events, etc.) therefore they might appear in different colours or can be dimmed at certain times.)

There weren’t enough chairs for everyone to sit outside. We ended up standing the entire time which was not pleasant at all, especially after a long day of walking.
Pleasant hour viewing the city from the river. Good price, and went for the single drink rather than the more expensive endless refill package. How much can you drink in 1 hr....... only negative, dock 42 is quite a trek....
Pleasant cruise along the Danube. The landmarks look different from the water. If you want to see lights, beware of sunset time
I received an email while heading to the departure dock canceling the cruise for technical reasons.
This is only a boat ride with a drink. There is no tape recording or audio telling you about the sights. They fill the boat to capacity, and even getting there a half hour early won’t get you a seat next to your friend.
So you select a non-guided tour and expect a narration... so much about being fair. The boat is running at half capacity, so it is up to you if you want to sit next to your friend or not.
The cruise cancelled at that last minute. Major disappointment . Seems that some coordination with other lines would be possible. Only get to Budapest once.
Night views of Parliament were worth the trip. Only downside was No Narration for pints of interest,
There is no narrative/narration on the various sights you will see as you cruise past. Even a recorded narration would have been nice.
We booked a boat tour for 10:00 PM, but when we were about to leave, we noticed that the tickets we received were for 6:15 PM. We have no idea why this happened, and nobody explained anything to us. Very poor company and very disappointing service.
Tripadvisor/Viator issues the vouchers, you select the time, everything you wrote is beyond our control.
Beautiful to do at dusk, although it goes by too quickly and the glass of wine they give is microscopic.
