100% do this!!

This was a fantastic experience while in Bucharest and Andreea and Ionut were amazing driver/guides! We felt like we were long time friends from the moment you meet them! The salt mine is a one of kind experience and the small group made it very comfortable and flexible for all. Andreea explains everything so well and keeps things interesting throughout the tour. I would recommend this 100%

Simple visit Salt Mines and Snagov

Salt mines were definitely a wow factor. Was interesting to see people doing activities in the big space with even a planetarium, although didn't have time to actually go in one. Monastery was quiet and you can see they really honour Vlad. A rather humble but clearly old church on a small island in a lake(?). Felt a bit sad to see the art on the walls crumbling or missing. Wish there was a bit more information/guide talk. Nevertheless, Andrea was a great host and very accommodating, and ensured clear communication via messages.

Excellent

We arrived at the meeting point, and they were already there, punctual and cooperative. The bus driven by the very kind Ionut adhered to the schedule, and considering the traffic in Bucharest, Ionut managed to make the journey comfortable. As for the guide Andreea, we can say nothing but: prepared, kind, helpful, and very approachable. Rating organization 5/5 Rating experience itself = 4/5 (we expected something more from both the mine and the monastery)

Salt Mine Tour

What a lovely day. The tour was absolutely value for money and one I would highly recommend. Andreea was so patient and kind and had a vast knowledge base on not only the salt mine and the monastery we visited, but she also highlighted and explained an array of things along the route. She helped us translate food options as well as order the correct traditional food experiences at the food stop and she gave us some valuable tips and tricks for additional tour options as well as food options and places to see during our stay in Bucharest. Thank you for a lovely day Andreea and to our driver too. It was an absolute pleasure.

Best excursion from Bucharest

This was definitely the highlight of my 3 day trip. Our guide Andreea was probably the nicest person I’ve ever met; patient, funny, insightful and full of helpful tips for getting around the city. Our tour was private which provided flexibility, however the salt mines could potentially provide hours of entertainment for families (games, snacks, rides/theater). It was one of the most impressive geological structures I’ve witnessed in 39 countries. Definitely worth the trip and money. Highly recommend for all ages.

Excellent

Wonderful family trip. Guide and caring driver all the time, asking if everyone was enjoying the tour, if they had doubts and if they needed something. Driver driving very carefully. It was practically a walk with longtime friends. I recommend.

Interesting trip and very...

Interesting trip and very helpful guides. The salt mine interior is monumental to see. Surprisingly, it is more heavy on tourist facilities side rather than museum-type objects. The Snagov island offered a charming small church very rich in wall paintings and interesting bits of history about Vlad the Impaler.
