Embark on the adventure of a lifetime aboard the award-winning Buccaneer Pirate Cruise. Join us as we take to the seas of the Emerald Coast in search of undiscovered treasure. Entertainment and interaction create adventure, excitement, and merriment for the young and young at heart. Our captain and mates will amuse your whole crew from beginning to end with pirate-themed activities, witty banter, singing, dancing, and family fun. The crew engages willing participants in pirate training, sword fighting, water gun battles, a treasure hunt, and authentic cannon fire. Parents are welcome to join in with the Scallywags and Lil Bucs, but only those brave enough to complete pirate training will be made honorary members of the Buccaneer Crew. If you’re not keen to plundering and swabbing the decks, our galley mates serve grog to those pirates 21 and up. Simply kick back, relax, take in the scenery, and watch your lads and lasses have the time of their lives.

It’s amazing for small kids. The crew are attentive to the children and really get them to engage in the fun. The boat is awesome and the smoothies are really good.

The cruise was very enjoyable, especially for kids. But wear light colored clothes and bring a towel. The crew did a outstanding job getting the passengers involved in the show.

Such a fun experience for both kids and adults! Highly recommend this experience! I also suggest going earlier in the morning or in the evening to avoid insane heat - if you are doing this in summertime. We went mid-July at 12pm and it was HOT out there. The staff were all very friendly and great with kids of all ages. Would def do this again!

So we made the choice to do a Pirate Cruise in late July in Florida. We initially scheduled a Tuesday 9 am but got pushed to Thursday 3pm due to a tropical storm. Everything that was writhing the company’s control was phenomenal. Check in was efficient, the hosts were amazing - you’d never guess they were hopping around and playing on some of the hottest, sunniest weather Florida has to offer. Refreshments were awesome. The kids were constantly entertained. Vibes were perfect. Do I recommend taking an afternoon cruise with a cranky 4 year old in late July in Florida? Maybe not. But if you’re going to do it, Buccaneer Pirate Cruise is going to still manage to make it worth your time and money. Do try to take an early or sunset cruise. Smother yourself in sunscreen, drink a ton of water and do your best to find shade.

I booked this trip to accompany my 6 year old nephew. 3 adults and one child in our party. It was easy to find the ship which was clean and relatively comfortable. I definitely recommend sunscreen and a hat. A small, reasonably priced gift shop and snack bar. Surprisingly good Bloody Mary and mango daiquiri. Fun music playing most of the trip. 3 pirates dressed well and in character the entire time. Face painting, sword fighting, water pistol fight, treasure hunt and all went home with treasure! Adults pay close attention to the dialogue from the pirates, there were some funny double entendre for those paying attention. Amazingly beautiful water. We even saw a dolphin jump in front of the ship!

Only recommend if you have small children that like to interact “Pirates” on board played games with the kids.
Ahoy, and thank you for the feedback. The Buccaneer is an interactive experience meant for younger children, but all ages are welcome to join in on the fun. It's an adventure families have loved for years.
