We did a 4 day gravel bike tour including Siena, Piazza, Montalcino. We couldn't have asked for more. Michele met us at our hotel. He helped us download maps on GPS which were then very easy to use. Bikes were in excellent condition. Hotels were all great. 3-stars so not the fanciest but comfortable with terrific breakfast. We have done tours with bigger companies and paid twice as much for the same type of service.
Hello, Thank you very much for the review, we are very Happy you had a nice tour! Best regards, Michele
The views were spectacular. Tuscany is just so beautiful. Michele was very helpful taking care of a problem with one of the electric bikes. The route down to the winery was very nice and comfortable. But we decided to take the shuttle bus after lunch as the cycle back up to the end point was going to be very challenging for those us on regular bikes. Michele was good enough to get the shuttle bus while we were having lunch. Lunch at the winery was delicious with many wine and olive oil tastings. It was a great experience !
What a delightful experience! Renzo has the unique ability to provide historical context to the experience as well as the personal knowledge to provide a multilayered overview of Lake Como. He was flexible in planning and in execution of the personalized tour and also very proficient in English. We came away from the tour with a better understanding of the culture and the architecture of the region, as well as it’s impact on history from the Romans to modern science and art.
We were 8 friends celebrating a stag party and we had an amazing day out with Michele and his electric bikes. The Brunello tour offers some amazing view of one of the best areas in Tuscany. Michele was very friendly and made everything possible to make our party memorable. The place he selected for the factory tour and the lunch was absolutely spot on. The bikes are in very good conditions and the tour is suitable for everybody.
My husband and I had an excellent bike tour with Michele in the middle of May, 2019. Michele is friendly and professional. He picked us up with a van in Siena and kindly dropped us off at the Siena train station at the end of the tour. The e-bikes were easy to use and made the uphill biking fairly easy. The scenery was peaceful and beautiful. The Fanti wine and olive oil we tried during the tour were excellent. We hope to return to Tuscany someday and do another tour with Michele.
1/2 day bike tour in Montalcino. Michele was a great guide. My husband and I - in our 50's, and daughter and niece - 20 years old, spent four fun hours with Michele. A great ride (with the electric assist bikes) through amazing country side. A stop at the Abbey and winery tour. A truly great way to experience Tuscany. We met Michele at arranged meeting spot near fortress in Montalcino. Bikes were all set up, helmets and water. He gave us a short and helpful explanation on how the bike works and we were off. Michele was really patient and knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend.
My husband and I toured the vineyards of Montalcino on electric bike guided by amazing Michele. It was so much fun. And it was so unbelievably beautiful. The tour was organized and well thought out. We visited a biodynamic Brunello vineyard tucked away in the Tuscan hills. We got to learn all about the Sangiovese grapes, the process and taste a few of the wines and eat some organic parmesano. Michele kept us safe and changed our flat tire quickly, not once but two times! He was awesome. Highly recommended.
