Then, see the world-famous “Rosetta Stone,” the key to deciphering Egyptian hieroglyphics. Admire the controversial Parthenon Sculptures, taken from the Parthenon in Athens by Lord Elgin, the former British ambassador to the Ottoman Empire. Joe was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The tour was well structured to give me the best overview of the areas of interest for me. It set the scene for this visit and subsequent visits. Highly recommend the tour and a f course Jo.
Best tour we’ve had. Very knowledgeable and she is great with kids. Highly recommend this tour to anyone!
Elizabeth was fantastic! We forgot to reserve tickets for the museum and were turned away at the entrance because tickets were sold out. Elizabeth found tickets so we could still join her tour. Her knowledge and presentation was impeccable and entertaining enough to keep our 9-year old engaged! Highly recommend!
We had an Italian woman as a tour guide. She was good at talking and explaining so you could understand and get a lot out of the tour.
I did not make it to the tour. She attempted to follow up with me that speaks very well for the tour guide.
A great way to experience the British Museum. Our tour guide was very informed and organized and an excellent storyteller - it made the museum come to life for me and the kids. He was also great at answering all my kid's random questions - even when it was off topic from his primary subject matter. Highly recommend!
Great knowledge level, friendly, accommodating. Navigated busy spaces easily, worth the time and money, Thank you!
Book this tour directly with the museum. We travel extensively and often use this app. But the museum is huge. Meeting place crowded. Guide NOT identifying self in any way. We were never able to locate them. Paid for nothing.
Was a terrific guide! Made sure everyone was heard and understood while bringing insightful information and answering everyone’s questions. Would highly recommend if you are looking for someone that’s not only knowledgeable but also passionate about history and culture.
We almost didn’t get through security because we only had a barcode, not a QR code on our ticket. Aside from that, Elisabeta was wonderful in her knowledge and in navigating the crowds.
