Bristol Waterfront: Brunel to Banksy Self-Guided Puzzle Walk

Description
A magical camera that reveals Bristol's hidden past. This self-guided puzzle walk takes you along the stunning waterfront, where every photo unlocks a piece of history you never knew existed. Start at Clifton Suspension Bridge, where Brunel's genius towers above the Avon Gorge. Discover the clifftop railway that became the BBC's secret WWII studio, wind through Georgian crescents, and find Banksy's Girl with the Pierced Eardrum. Solve puzzles at the SS Great Britain, explore Brunel's Victorian dockyard, and spot wildlife in a hidden nature reserve. Each stop weaves engineering, art, and rebellion across 200 years of Bristol history. End at Llandoger Trow, Bristol's oldest pub and the real inspiration for Treasure Island. With 14 stops across 2-3 hours, this is the waterfront's most complete story, told through puzzles and a time-bending mystery. Download the Questo app, start whenever you like, and explore Bristol's waterfront at your own pace.

The Quest was fun to do. Too bad the app stopped after doing a few commands. To continue we had to go back to the starting location and start again. Furthermore, we have been to beautiful places and what you must have seen of Bristol we have seen because of this. Some questions were unclear but the hints will get you there!
This was a good walk but many places under construction making it difficult to see the clue. Would be good to end it somewhere nearer the start point as well.
Thank you for sharing your experience and for giving the quest a try! We're glad you enjoyed the walk and getting your steps in, even if some construction made a few clues harder to spot. We really appreciate your suggestion about the ending location—it's helpful feedback, and we'll take it into account for future improvements. We hope to see you on another quest soon, maybe in a city with fewer detours!
It was nice and we learned a lot. The questions were not so hard and the sort of puzzles repeated a bit too much. We hoped more escape like puzzles
Thanks for sharing your feedback! We're happy to hear you enjoyed the experience and learned something new. We appreciate your thoughts on the puzzles and will definitely keep them in mind as we continue to improve. We look forward to having you play again soon!
None. We didn’t need to pay for this. We could have just downloaded the app ourselves. Rip off. Always check your App Store first before paying a middle man like this.

This was so much fun! It took a while to get the game working on the app but once it was it worked brilliantly. It’s a long walk but didn’t seem it. Clever clues that made us think but which were eminently solvable. We learned a lot about Bristol too
We're thrilled to hear that you had a blast exploring Bristol with Questo! Sorry for any initial hiccups with the app, but we're glad to hear that everything worked out smoothly in the end. It's fantastic that you found the clues clever yet solvable and that you learned a lot about Bristol along the way. We hope to see you on another Questo adventure soon!
Bristol is a really interesting city with the old city and the lovely walks along the river. We also went up to Clifton primarily to see the bridge which is amazing. Whilst there we wandered around Clifton which is lovely with some bespoke shops and cafes. However we did find Bristol untidy with lots of litter in the streets and main walkways. We stayed at the Bristol Hotel which is charming and well situated
Glad you enjoyed Bristol's old city and river walks, as well as the Clifton area. Your observation about litter is noted. We're pleased you had a charming stay at the Bristol Hotel. If you're up for more exploring, we're here to guide you. Happy travels! 🏙️🚶♂️🌉
This is our 3rd Questo, what a brilliant way to see the area you are visiting, it will appeal to all ages, we live in this area but learnt many new or additional facts. This is excellent value for money, brilliant support if you get stuck on a clue. Best thing is you can start the Quest and return to it to complete it, perfect for a day out and picnic along the route. I hope your idea keeps growing. Another 10/10 from us as a family. Well done Alex
Great to see that you enjoyed exploring Bristol with Questo. Thank you for sharing your review. Hope to see you explore more games with us. We are grateful
