Alina was such a fantastic guide for us. She really knew her stuff and was totally engaging telling us all about the history of the places we went to plus about her own experiences of growing up in Romania during pivotal times in the country's recent history. We got held up in traffic for a large part of the day but she made sure we still saw and enjoyed all parts of the tour. Would highly recommend. There may be some tickets that you require on top of the tour booking so do check this as soon as you are able as they may sell out during peak times of the year.
Mimi did a great job and was very informative. The tour flowed nicely and she kept a good rhythm
We had a fantastic day touring Bran and Peleș Castles and the Râșnov Fortress. Our guide, Alina, was truly amazing - not only was she super friendly and respectful, but her deep knowledge of Romanian history and culture was impressive. She was also a very skilled driver, making us feel completely safe throughout the day as we took in the beautiful Transylvanian scenery. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and highly recommend this tour.
Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re delighted you enjoyed visiting Bran Castle, Peleș Castle, and Râșnov Fortress. Alina will be very happy to hear your feedback—she truly loves sharing her knowledge and making every trip special. We hope to welcome you again in Romania! 😊
Our guide, Bogdan, ( Alex tours) was really good. Turned up on time, good driving, very friendly, he guided us throughout the tour and gave us really good information about where we were. We would recommend for sure!
Thank you very much for your kind review! I’m really happy to hear you enjoyed the tour and felt comfortable throughout the day. It was a pleasure showing you around and sharing a bit of Romania’s history and culture with you. Thank you for the recommendation, and I hope to see you again in the future! 😊
We had a great day. I really enjoyed our tour. I would definitely recommend.
Thank you very much! I’m really glad you enjoyed the tour and had a great day. I truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again in Romania! 😊
Excellent day with an excellent guide. Marius was very informative and accommodating. We learned so much from the day and had excellent food too thanks to Marius. Would highly recommend this activity. Visiting these places would not be the same experience without the local guides to give the history. We also received history and information on local buildings and areas on route to these castles/fortress.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review! 😊 We’re truly happy you had such an excellent day with Marius. He is passionate about sharing the history, stories, and local insights of Transylvania, so it means a lot to hear that you appreciated not only the castles and fortress, but also the information along the way — and of course the delicious local food! We completely agree — visiting these places is a different experience when you have a local guide bringing everything to life. Thank you again for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back to Romania for another adventure soon! Warm wishes, Bogdan Transylvania Discovery Tours
Bogdon was a great guide — he’s very informative and has a good sense of humor. He also was flexible and gave good suggestions when it came to having some free time to ourselves and avoiding crowded times at the tourist sites. We were fortunate to have him as our guide and that we ended up being the only two people in what would’ve otherwise been a small group, so it felt like a private tour. Râşnov Fortress is still undergoing renovations at the time, so we were not able to explore the inside.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! 😊 It was truly a pleasure spending the day with you both. I’m really glad you appreciated the flexibility, timing adjustments to avoid crowds, and of course a bit of Romanian humor along the way 😉 Sometimes when a small group turns into just two guests, it really does feel like a private experience — and I’m happy it made the day even more special for you. Regarding Râșnov Fortress, thank you for mentioning the renovations. While interior access is temporarily limited, we always try to make the most of the visit by sharing the history and enjoying the beautiful views from outside. I hope to welcome you back to Romania for another adventure in the future! Warm regards, Bogdan Transylvania Discovery Tours
Amazing tour! Everything was planned perfectly and we loved Bogdan! Great company and would recommend them to all.
Thanks a lot for this great review! 😊 I’m glad you enjoyed the tour and that everything was perfectly planned. It was a pleasure spending the day with you! Thanks for recommending us. It means a lot to a small local company like ours. I hope to see you again in Romania someday!
I highly recommend this tour. Not only do you see several castles and a monastery but you do it with a guide who knows the best parking areas, has an excellent understanding of the history of the area and speaks English extremely well.
Thank you so much for your fantastic recommendation! 😊 I’m really glad you enjoyed the mix of castles and monastery, and that the organization — including timing and parking (sometimes an adventure on its own 😉) — made the day smooth and stress-free. It means a lot to hear that you appreciated the historical explanations as well. Thank you again for your kind words, and I hope to welcome you back to Romania for another memorable tour! Warm regards, Bogdan Transylvania Discovery Tours
