Itinerary
On this 2.5 hours tour of Brasov we will show you the highlights of the buildings and the history of the old town. Starting more than 900 years ago the history of Brasov is very close to the knights, the Saxons and the invaders. A short introduction about what the Council Square was used in the old times, medieval times, communist time and modern times.
We will enter and discover the Black Church which dominates the main square and is Brasov's most important monument. The Black Church is the biggest Gothic religious construction from the Eastern Europe. You will understand after the visit from where the name of the church is coming.
We will visit one of the narrowest street in Eastern Europe.
The First Romanian School Museum is housed on the grounds of St. Nicholas Church, this was for centuries one of the leading learning centers of the Romanian people. The printing press that opened here in 1556 produced some of the first books written in Romanian language. The museum hosts a compelling legacy: more than 4,000 rare books (many printed or copied by hand right here), several hundred rare documents, the oldest Bible (printed on goat's skin) and much more.
At the end of the tour you will receive some tips and tricks about the ways you can explore Brasov in the evening. Brasov Tour can be booked at 10AM, 2PM or 7PM . The only tour that can be done in the night time. Others may refuse you for a late tour, but we’ll do our best to help you. We understand that you can work during daytime and you only have time after 7PM and maybe the next day you’ll go home. Don’t leave Brasov before you get to know one of the best city in Romania! Book a late evening tour and have a Brasov by night. Every town looks different by night, so does our city!

Stefano showed us the best of Brasov, explained its history, buildings, squares, its people, how they live... it was a very interesting visit, but I also have to say that once they made different visits, this one was very expensive, but he very well.
Dan was good in explaining about the history of the city, and right from the beginning he told us that he talks too much, and he said that we can stop him talking at anytime but we didn’t, out of politeness. He has great information, but I don’t think tourists want to know all of that. Most tourists just want to know a bit about the history and more of sightseeing really. It’s worth mentioning that the tour was 1.35 min not 2 hours as stated, so we believe that it was not worth 97Euro for this short time, but we wish Dan all the best. Maybe hop on hop off is better and you see much more of the city with less information which you don’t memorise anyway.
Thank you for your review and feedback. We're glad to hear that Dan was knowledgeable about the history of Brasov, however we understand that some tourists may prefer more sightseeing over historical information. We'll take your feedback into consideration for future tours. We apologize for any inconvenience regarding the duration of the tour.
Dan was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide, his English was perfect and he took me to a great wine bar that I really enjoyed at the end of the tour. Thanks Dan!

We had a great tour of Brasov the tour guide (Ovidiu?)was very flexible when we were running late and from the beginning he was engaging and interesting. He gave us a wonderful day where we left with a much better understanding of the roots of Brasov and the surroundings - highly recommended!
