Booking through Tripadvisor was easy and straightforward. Once confirmed, we were given Ardi’s local number and reached out to him once we arrived in Jogja. Best to contact him directly on WhatsApp (+62 888-0270-2727) From the start, Ardi was incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating. He shared lots of helpful local insights, from cultural tips to great food spots, and made us feel well taken care of throughout the tour. We initially booked the sunrise and temple tour, but enjoyed our time with Ardi so much that we arranged two more days with him directly. Thanks to his recommendations, we discovered lovely local eateries and found quality souvenirs away from the usual tourist spots. Highly recommend connecting with Ardi if you're visiting Jogja — he really helped make our trip special.
Thank you for sharing such a detailed and positive review! We're thrilled to hear Ardi made your trip memorable and that his insights enriched your experience. We'll make sure he hears about your kind words!
We spent an incredible day in Indonesia thanks to Ardi Hasibuan, who accompanied us from morning to evening with remarkable kindness, patience and passion. He knows the region perfectly, its customs, its history, and knows how to make us discover authentic places, far from the usual tourist trails. His organisation was impeccable: every step of the way was well thought out, the visit times balanced, and he was always flexible to adapt to our desires. He is much more than just a guide, he is a true ambassador of his country. Thanks to him, we discovered beautiful places, tasted incredible local cuisine and learned a lot about Indonesian culture. If you are looking for a professional, passionate and truly caring guide, I recommend it 100%! 📞 Contact: +62 888-0270-2727

We booked Ardi for 2 days. Went to Borobudur, sunrise. merapi, prambanan temple and arts & craft activity. Ardi was our guide and he was just amazing during all the trip, he is a very passionate guide and explains you the history of every place you go to in a very entertaining way. You learn a lot from him, totally recommend him. His number is +6288802702727.
Yes, thank you so much!
Amazing monuments and views. Kind and attentive people. Driver Damar is excellent company ready for a lough and at your service for added adventures such as coffee and durian tasting. I strongly recommend. Since COVID restrictions morning climb is not available. It is replaced by scenic photo taken at sunrise from nearby viewpoint.
Thank you so much to give a best review
I was traveling solo and booked this tour at the last minute. Ardi was my tour guide, he was wonderful! He picked me up from my hotel very early to see the sunrise from Bukit Setumbu and was very friendly (I felt bad because I was not at that hour!). I slept in the car ride to the sunrise spot. The sunrise/view was okay, probably much better when you could go up the temple at sunrise. But the rest of the day was great, we went to all the other smaller temples and was able to adjust the tour schedule to better suit the activities with the weather/my energy level. Ardi is extremely knowledgeable and discussed all sorts of topics with me, I learned a lot from him. I took photos of certain details at the temple and he shared the stories that they related to. Ardi also has a great philosophy about his work -- instead of going to work, he's going to "meet a friend". Be prepared to have a friend by the end of the day! Added bonus: he takes great photos and, as a solo traveler, the pictures he took for me were by far the best of my whole vacation!
Ardi and the team have been improving the quality of service and knowledge...Thanks for the review
We enjoyed our trip very much, starting with a beautiful sunrise at Bukit Setumbu, breakfast with Luwak coffee in a local café complete with civet cats that you can selfie with! Borobudur is breathtaking! Luckily, we were able to get to the top level which was closed earlier this year. In the afternoon, we got lazy but Ardi made sure we got a vantage close up view of Prambanan without suffering the sweltering heat! Ardi is well spoken, with good English and warm, friendly personality. He has extensive knowledge of the sights, culture and history of Yogyakarta. As a professional, he is always punctual, neat and very accomodating. You can customise your own itinerary and trust that Ardi will provide very good advice. When we asked about the unique scaly fruit known as Salak, he drove us to the farm which has its own humble roadside stall, where the fruits are fresher and much cheaper than at supermarkets. When we asked for local grilled fish, he obliged and brought us for a good lunch. He makes great suggestions, leveraging his experience but is never pushy. His information is very up-to-date which is important with changing regulations. We recommend Ardi highly!
